How will corporates benefit by running reentry programs. They can hire people directly from current job market who are in sync with latest technology etc.
Creates a good brand for prospective employees. Lesser pay than market range.

Through re-entry programs companies can hire more mature / experienced professionals at lower salaries. Those people can generally learn and catch up on recent tools & technologies very quickly.
Mostly people via these programs are paid lesser than average. More often than not, these hires are on contractual basis than FTE and there are some conditions before they convert to FTE. Which means that company doesn't have to pay them a lot of benefits they pay to FTEs
