I’ve been pondering over this for a couple months. I’ve been in the startup ecosystem for a while now, I’ve seen many people who want to build but usually lack a support system. Venture Capital just doesn’t meet you until you have a certain scale and before that I realise that building alone is especially difficult for anyone. 

If I am able to find enough cracked people (5-10 for now) working on or planning to work on something cool, I will start a hacker house somewhere in NCR.

If you think you’re working on something cool, DM me. 

Why NCR? 
I feel this place has enough people with potential but lacks in communities in comparison to bangalore.

Saw the recent announcement of layoffs etc at Swiggy and came across this new product from Swiggy. It’s available via the Swiggy app, has a SAAS side too - saw few articles. Curious if anyone has seen Minis on Swiggy already.

This influencer with a massive following on YouTube laid me & my team off within a week of hiring since apparently they have deferred their Series A. Bro, why didn't you figure it out before I joined. They bumped off Sourcing, D2C sales head, Finance, Offline Sales head, etc as well. Apparently - they still have the HR head drawing the salary of probably more than 50L pa since they need to build 'culture' for a team size of less than 25 ppl now.

Business model: D2C business launching products in partnership with Influencer to leverage their following

Saw this on Twitter today, found this interesting and loved the idea. 

The app is named - Jamm. A members-only social network that helps you meet all kinds of people over fun activities IRL. Tagline - ‘Never Have Another Boring Week’.

The idea behind this as per founder (Able Joseph) is to improve the social health/life of its members. The more like-minded the community, the nicer its interactions will be. 


Here’s how it works.
- Apply for membership
- Once accepted, pick an activity (board games, bike rides, etc.) and post a Jamm
- Receive requests from other members who are interested to be a part of your Jamm
- Curate the people you wish to bring together
- Coordinate with the Jammers on group chat
- Meet them IRL and have a good time

Interesting to see how they’ll be solving security challenges associated with meeting people. Also, I guess this could also turn out to be a hookup app.

Ilya Sutskever, OpenAI’s former chief scientist, is launching Safe Superintelligence Inc., an AI startup “prioritizing safety over commercial pressures”.

What’s SSI? Safe Superintelligence Inc. (SSI) aims to create a safe and powerful AI system, approaching safety and capabilities in tandem while avoiding distraction by management overhead or product cycles.

Team? SSI is co-founded by Daniel Gross, a former AI lead at Apple, and Daniel Levy, who previously worked at OpenAI. Unlike OpenAI, SSI will not pursue partnerships with companies like Apple and Microsoft.

What are they upto? Well, SSI’s first product will be safe superintelligence, and the company “will not do anything else” until then 🤐

Still no idea what this means but great team doing something, will be super exciting to see this pan out!
