Rural Life Experience.
I was suffering from 2-3 mild health issues in metro. (prolonged cold n cough, regular sneezing etc)
Came home ЁЯПб in diwali and now extended wfh due to health gain. Living with parents and consuming clean air + food is helping improve my sleep quality as well тЭдя╕ПтАНЁЯй╣ (2h+ deep sleep) 8h continuous sleep.
I did cost benifit analysis and have decided to work on a plan which will eventually help me settle down at my birthplace within 2-5y.
synopsis --
Children's play under sun ЁЯМЮ and have group of 10 kids. They ain't worried about anything. Their happiness index > ceos.
They don't know about masturbation till 10th or age 14 if they don't have a smartphone.
My workplace is open and aqi is below 10. Strong peepal and banyan trees ЁЯМ┤ even 100y old. When I feel stressed due to any reason I just go to see sunset near my place hardly 2km away. It's a stress buster with earbuds in and watching migrant birds crossing river.
Ain't those birds more free and independent than us? Like they don't give a damn ЁЯХКя╕П about future and enjoy the present.
Very less car and almost 0 traffic тЫФ. People still use bicycles and cycle repair shop>garages.
Life is slow and peaceful. People go to sleep at 9-10pm and wake up at 5-6am.
Life is too easy. Cost of a family with 2acre land is hardly 25k/m here.
Sometimes I wonder why chase 2 lac/month sacrificing so much in a so called developed city.
Society is ambivert. Pizza ЁЯНХ ЁЯНФ burger biryani is trying to enter these areas.
But I don't miss swiggy.
Zeptonis redundant here.
My ЁЯТ│ credit card is lying there thinking why am not swiping it...

Toughest part is to find better half with same mindset.
I travel frequently and have covered whole india except 3-4 places like Andaman, lakshadweep and NE.
What I have noticed is gen z is very high on drugs and manyatimes they have 4-5 digit savings even after working for 4-5y. I am not generalising or against it, they can live their life the way they want but it's the harsh reality.
Can anyone live without malls, clubs, multiplex and junk food nowadays?
Anyone on same boat or think like this or have any other perspective?
Am all ears ...
That is true what you have said. But life gets tougher for a female in smaller towns. I didn't had that perspective before getting married.May be it depends upon which part of India you are staying, but that is a big factor.
Yup, I can bruh I still wear clothing from local shops. I don't usually eat junk foods until someone wants to eat . Last movie which I watched in mall was Civil war xdd. Life is good bruh without these things. Just chilling/ enjoying working
I truly appreciate your perspective and the way you perceive life, valuing connections with people. However, I also sense that residing in villages might be viewed as an escape from reality. It may not be suitable for those who thrive in a fast-paced lifestyle. While I find peace when visiting my hometown or village, there's also a sense of pity as they seem somewhat disconnected from the current world, lagging behind by about a decade. Though fast internet has bridged some gaps, there's still a noticeable delay. From my experiences, people in villages can sometimes exhibit cunning traits and maintain a non-progressive mindset. Personally, I lean towards the preference of raising my children in cities due to the easier access to high-quality education and a more conducive environment for their overall growth.
Thanks for this comment Charsobees.
I love mmt and it's Wednesday axis offers.
Coming back to ur comment, i beg to defer.
Everyone don't want fast-paced life.
Like wakeup, sit in washroom with ur phone, check mails and teams/slack, watch random reels to get out of anxiety.
Then eat some junk or fast cooked food which is mostly chemical.
Then be Ranbir of tamasha in front of mirror and zoom out to get stuck into traffic тЫФ with poor aqi or dust everywhere.
Then reach ofc and sip sugar to again reduce ur BP and caffeine will kick in to head u 4 work. Formal chit chat with friends over lunch and show off like I got a 2bhk, someone 3bhk, anyone planning villa?
Again come back home with mindset of raising CTC to chase dogma ЁЯР╢ (Google it if u don't know)
ЁЯТд Have a poor sleep after watching bigboss and sipping alcohol with chemicals.
I hate this fast life.
Kids go to school at age 3 and real study starts after age 7-8
They can be homeschooled.
My 2 cent.
Sorry if I hurt u but my intention was to put truth as it is.
Its what I said ki if someone like fast placed then it is not for them. Also, coming to your other points whatever habits you mentioned is individual's choice. If you take care of what goes inside your body and mind then you can easily manage your body.
Apart from traffic and aqi everything else I feel can be improved by improving habits.
Also, life is about solving problems and being easy is boring for me atleast.
Lol. I find your comment funny not hurtful. You are agressive with your thoughts but I don't mind.
All this rural glorification only works for people who have a big pay Chek, mostly IT folks. The fact of the matter is rural India is not aspirational , it's regressive, it's irony think about it all people in rural especially young genz want to move out to urban think y this happens , purely because of opportunities.
When u jave 1 lack monthly income and wfh , you can blabbering all this bullshit, because u have money to dispose, invest, spend. That's not the case of 80 percebtage of people in rural India.
Sometimes I think IT ,techy have MONOPOLY in narrating life in india and balance ,peaceful life blablah..because majority of the people who come into this platform are top earners on India.
India is a third world country , know what that means?it means if ur borne here 80% of ur life decisions u have to take based on you pocket size.
You just don't have choice. People who brag there is always a choice don't get it.There is no choice. Always.
I beg to differ.
I have many friends who didn't migrate and haven't got a btech or mbbs degree still earning in 8d. Don't even pay tax.
It's about guts and perseverance.
Excuses don't work in real life.
Coming to IT guys jealousy, dear ...
That 1% or 1cr people are driving 25% of GDP.
- Real estate
- Automobile
- Travel ЁЯз│
- Health industry
- Education industry (Maids, ola uber, swiggy and so on 100+ services)
All these are growing at 10% cagr due to those 30% tax slab people. 50% of GDP.
Learn about cyclical economy and it's impact.
There is a reason why government brought lpg in 1991 after bop crisis.
You can't blame corporate or its employees. Even csr goes to society development and cess over 30%.
Iam not jelous of IT I'm a techy my self. What I said is most people don't have a choice india. That's is fact. The jobs are saturated in india to some industries. Peole will have to move if they don't they will live in poverty and die..
How do you socialize? Hard to find like minded Friends no?
Many school friends are here only... doing agriculture, small business, own showroom, brokers etc.
I socialize with them occasionally but don't have an urge to do so.
I am kinda family man and less of party animal
