Screenshots disabled on posts

Grapevine 🍇 Not sure if it's a bug. If it's implemented as a feature I'm curious to know if the engagement has increased by implementing this. I was trying to send a screenshot of a hiring post to my friend and all I can see is black screen. I personally came to know of this app by encountering GVs screenshots posted online. I know it's forcing someone to use the share button and thereby use the link to download the app. Forced download of an app would help someone? Not sure if someone would download a app just to look at one post.

I am using the latest Android app and it's not allowing me to take a screenshot. I am unable to tag @UnpaidIntern or @Micheal_Scott , but if anyone from the GV team comes across this; can you please confirm if it's a feature or bug? TIA.

I hate platforms that requires downloading app to consume content

For instance on Grapevine, if I share a post link to someone, and they open the link, they are taken to play store rather than a webpage with the post. They could instead show a banner to download the app on the webpage to download the app like how quora and reddit do.

I am not able to post anything with an attached image. Once I create the post and try to post it on a thread, it throws internal server error. Have tried to reinstall app a couple of times.

Hello team I feel there are few gaps in the app 1. If I need referrals from someone, there is no way to get it without disclosing my email in public. 2. The best time to scroll reddit is when you are in a meet. For that I use desktop version of reddit. Is there an option to have web version of this app? 3. Also I feel there are very limited groups can we add groups like referral and avl jobs?

Grapevine scroll bug

I’ve been an avid user of grapevine for the past couple of months but lately have been noticing a scrolling bug once I cross around 45 posts. The app starts auto scrolling back up to previous posts and after a few attempts to continue scrolling, the screen just goes blank. Previously the app used to literally auto close but that behaviour seems to have stopped. I am in iOS and the app is updated to the latest version. Using a iPhone SE OG, if that matters.

i get regular grapevine post notifications on iphone lockscreen , when i tap and open it doesnt redirect to the post mentioned in notification. Why are these poking me to read the one which i couldnt find. solution ?!
