"Seeking Guidance: Overcoming Low Academics, Career Gap, and Landing a Developer Job in India

I'm 2020 passed out based in India but due to my 10th class percentage was below 60%. I was unable to get a job. I was doing some small freelancing gigs and at the same time learnt Frontend Web Dev Skill. But due to academic eligibility criteria in India I was unable to get a job. Could someone suggest me ways to get a job in Frontend role or any related roles.

Hi I have relevant experience in a software application however I wanted to upgrade myself with a latest application as many others in my team. I phased up a lot of wait time and finally a no and have to forcefully leave the company now. I lost all my confidence and in a dilemma now of where and how can I pickup to crack a job and start performing. I had no career or educational gap Please Can anyone advise me

Hi am developer of having 6 years of exp 3 years - starup in Koramangala 2 years - unicorn in banglore 1 years 6 months - servicebased mnc in Hyderabad ( present I have assigned to client but not getting anynwork from 6 months. Been practicing leetcode but losing motivation in middle . My tech stack is python django What are the skills I need to do focus on now . Feeling low.

I am looking to transition into a tech career, but don't have much experience in the in-demand tech stacks. I am active in open-source development on GitHub ( I've used python quite a bit before). I have a non-CS degree from one of the top colleges in India. I understand that things are a bit bleak with the recession around the corner, but I'm happy to work on side projects. Could anyone help me out?

I have 5+ years of total experience - 3+ years of BA (business analyst) + Sr BA experience and a year of Product Manager 2 experience. Then I started my own venture. I'm thinking about switching back to the product manager role as my firm is not working as per the expectations and product development & growth marketing is something I genuinely enjoy working on. I need some advice from you all - how can I justify my 'employment gap'? What should I tell (or rather hide) about start-up failure? What should be my approach while applying for PM openings? Where should I start? I have graduated from an IIT, how can I leverage that? I know some of these questions would sound noobish, but I really don't have much experience in switching careers. Your help is appreciated 🙂.

Hello folks, This is a call for every software engineer and broader community. I’m a 30 year old customer support employee who worked at Airtel, MPL, Wazirx and I have 5 years of total experience all things customer support. About a year ago, laid off at Wazirx due to crypto taxes and regulations and it’s been an uphill battle to find a steady job in the market. Did few freelance jobs but nothing is working out. I’m at a point where I’m unable to even get by on monthly basis. I’m a Engg dropout as well, so no degree, no real top notch experience to land other roles. I finally decided to have a crack at software jobs and pivot to whole new field. I have few queries, if anyone can find some time and answer them, it would mean the world to me 1. Do I need a degree to land software roles ? 2. To pivot to coding roles ( no prior experience), where should i start ? 3. There’s an ocean of misinformation out there, I’m really confused on where to start and which courses to take up? ( Planning to take up Phyton ) 4. Can coding help to land freelance jobs ( I know it’s difficult and takes time to reach good enough of a level but I’m willing to work hard and put the hours in ). 5. I'm 2023 btech grad, I have selected in virtusa, LTIMindtree and dxc but none of them are giving response to full time. They are just delaying the process. I'm worried about my future, and confused what to do, so that I land a job. I have knowledge of core java, sql, basic dsa(leetcode 150+) and very basic project(that don't come in mini project category). What to do? ... should I prepare dsa or do backend in java? ... or just wait for the on boarding

Initially I was preparing for UPSC exam but I gave up after few months and now for a year I have been learning Front End Development and have learnt HTML, CSS, JS & ReactJS but unable to find a job. I made a lot of mistakes in past and didn't learned from them. I'm not good at anything. I apply daily at different platforms ex: wellfound (formerly angellist), hirist, hirect, instahyre, cutshort, individual mass hiring companies off campus but from nowhere I'm getting interview call even if I get call I'm not able to clear interview. Now the thing is my parents gave me ultimatun to get out of the house by April 1st they don't care what type of job I do. I don't understand what can I do now. I'm willing to do hardwork and learn from my mistakes I just need little guidance to get on a track. If anyone can guide me on how to get a job or any advice. I would really appreciate it.
