Seeking Insights on the Current UX Design Job Market
I lost my job as a product designer three months ago and have been actively searching for a new role since then. I'm curious about the current market for UX designers. Could you provide any insights into how the job market is looking for this field?
Crazy. I guess your expected CTC and role expectations wouldn't be easy fit for many companies. I am assuming. As I only have 2 yes of experience.
Check out job openings at Baker Hughes and Siemens. I think they were looking for senior folks.

Here’s the tried and tested approach to tackle this.
1. Don’t turn on the LinkedIn “open to work” badge.
2. There are plenty of opportunities on LinkedIn, mass apply to all of them.
3. Pretend to be exclusive. If you get a call, don’t sound desperate. Tell them you already have an offer but you’re scouting for something better.
4. Don’t worry about location, if it doesn’t suit you, just apply for the interview experience.
5. The more confident you act and sound the better your chances get.
Market is worsening day by day. Too much of supply of designers but handful of opportunities.

I myself is in the same situation. It been 2 months since i left the last company. Getting interviews scheduled was a big thing. If we have some one to refer at least there is a chance. I’m currently trying to reach to people and asking for opportunities. Let’s hope it gets better.
You have to create opportunities do you have a solid portfolio with good case studies not talking about dribble or behance?? If yes then you just need to figure out a strategy...do not blame the market...market is always up for those who try
It's pretty bad. Fuck ton of designers and very little opportunities. Companies are being very choosy and nitpicky
