 Claim settlement gets easy. 
 U don't know what all illness it covers. 
 Some company cover don't cover critical illness. 
 It's better to have a separate cover.

My company provides me 8 lakh ka corporate plan, should I buy a top up plan from 10 lakh to 1 crore which cost me  3-4k. 

Can I use my corporate plan upto 10 lakh and if needed can use top-up plan. 

Both are of different companies. Is it possible?

Hey. I'm sorry if this question is a repeat, but I am currently on the lookout for medical insurance outside corporate insurance for my family (me, wife and newborn son). 
We are both working and are covered in corporate health insurance separately. But I have heard that a separate health insurance is better. What do you guys think? 
If you think it would be better to have a separate health insurance, which one would you guys suggest?

So recently my dad visited a relative who was on a ventilator and when he came back he was quite anxious about what he saw and asked me to look for good Medical Insurance for the family.  Now I did some research on the same but would love some of your suggestions of which to choose or how I can select a good one and from where.

Basic Requirements - 10 lac coverage (idk if that's enough or should I go for more) and good hospitals covered.
Other details got me confused so maybe help me out.🥹

Need Suggestions for Medical Insurance

So I was searching for an adequate health insurance plan for my parents aged 64 and 59. After comparing various plans and checking with Ditto, I have narrowed it down to 2 plans Care Supreme and Aditya Birla Activ One. 

Both of them have similar benefits with no room rent limit, additional rider to lessen the coverage time for PED (since most seniors have some conditions or the other this becomes most important), no sublimits for any particular diseases and no co-pay. Also Ditto isn't directly able to compare them both since "Aditya Birla Activ one is quite new and they don't have data on them" which doesn't quite sound right to me as it sounded quite like they were pushing me towards Care Supreme.

I did consider other plans as well like Niva Bupa or HDFC Ergo but they were way too expensive providing similar benefits only.

Any of you guys have taken the above mentioned plans or are planning to take an insurance for your parents? Also are there any other insurance advisors similar to Ditto? I tried talking to a few agents but all of them seem to be pushing Star Health plans nowadays which sound to be utter crap to me.

I've completed 1 year in my first job. I've tried saving and investing some money, help me decide what I can do better:

Income: 22LPA

PPF: 3 Lakh
EPF: 2 Lakh
MF: 5 Lakh
Saving Account: 4.5 Lakh

Income for new FY post increment: 29LPA

I did these savings based on some advice from my elder brother.

I'd like to spend more this year though, with some travel and going out more, maybe even purchase a scooty/bike and a PS5 😁 - would these expenses be justified?

Apart from improving my savings & investments and 
still being able to afford a few luxuries, I want to know if I should get any of these:

- Health Insurance - Only 5 Lakh cover from company for me and my parents (note - parents are getting old)
- Life Insurance - Do we really need it, I'm still 24?
