Service based to product based switch

Hello all, I have been working since my graduation at Publicis Sapient as an SDE with experience nearing 3 years and I am starting to realise the need to switch. Would be glad to get thoughts / suggestions of product-based companies I could try for. Would also be glad to hear from people who have made a similar switch. Have been working in this service based MNC for more than 3 years being given the domain of company’s choice ni change even after requesting for change through ijp. Preparing for switch and really want to work on SDE role as I have build stuff in college days and before getting selected in this mass hiring. Want to build stuff rather than just validate it but will it be okay to switch to dev role after 3.5 yoe what can be the challenges and consequences that I might have to face? What would you suggest moving from manual qa to sdet first or directly to sde roles? While being paid less than 6ctc what should be expected ctc?for switching to sdet or sde with no prior experience only self learnings through courses? Working in service based company for these many years which companies to target for both learning and earning growth?

Planning to start prepration for switching to other companies for SDE2, have around 3 yrs of experience now totally. What should I focus on more? I am pretty okay in DSA, but still will start from scratch. Any resources or roadmap that can help for SDE2 roles in companies like Microsoft, Google, Walmart or Atlassian, etc. Current compensation is 20lpa, looking for around 35lpa in switch. Any resources or roadmap or your experience will be very helpful, thanks. P.S. - Will be switching next year after appraisal, just gonna start preparing now.

I am a technical support engineer with less than two years of experience in the industry. I am working in tier 2 support where it's not much of telecommunication but is fairly technical, tool based though and I feel the urge to switch to an SDE role as i feel my knowledge base is getting restricted to a mere tool than the technology around. How should I approach the companies and switch the domains?

I’m a 2023 graduate working as a SDE in a Product Based Company In Bangalore. My CTC is 8LPA around 55k hits my bank account. In next 5 months I’ll have 1 yr of experience. I want to switch after 5 months (After Hike) to a Product Based Company in Delhi NCR. Which companies to target? Also how much CTC should I expect? Why Delhi NCR? My family lives here and I constantly feel I’m missing out on quality time with the people I love so I wanna move back. PS: I’m thinking not to go for a CTC below 10LPA

I have started looking out for a switch due to layoffs going on in my current organisation. I have got an offer of 20 LPA fixed. What is the max I can expect for SDE 1 position as SDE 2 requires atleast 2 years of experience?
