I don't look that good so, I never get a single match nowadays. And even if I do once in a year, no one messages. In my whole life I went on 1 date(first one that matched + messaged) & that went too bad for me, 4-5 years ago I think. I wasn't myself and I don't know what I was doing. I wasn't disrespectful of course. Girl left in 15 mins.

Have never tried dating app’s personally, but truly want to meet a guy who is interested in a long term one I chat with some of my guy college friends, all seem to be hating relationships and commitment

And I hate to pretend I also like flings, I don’t, that’s one of the reason I don’t use apps, most are looking for just you know what

If you folks are just out of college or still in it, then the guy might just not have time to invest emotions in relationship right? He has his whole figuring out life and career to think about, relationships asks priorities to be shifted from that. It's good to reserve some emotional power at such a juncture to career. Give it a year or 2 they change..

Never used one.

I think opportunities to mingle with a potential partner is much higher when you’re in college/school.

Plus, I’ve personally observed that folks, when they start working, have a reduced social mobility.

This is likely due to reduced unique interactions on a daily basis outside of work. So, it makes sense that dating apps would flourish.

But they have come with their own consequences (behavioural/psyche-change), just like social media did. Fl

@AstroBubbles Ofc, and that is change.

Technology affects culture and Culture affects Technology.

Dating apps have become a part of PopCulture now and even if you don’t use one, you’ll still know about all the lingo. 😶‍🌫️
