Should I join ShareChat/Moj?

Almost in the last round in ShareChat, should I join this considering they had massive layoffs just few months back. I'll be working in the AI/ML position but I don't want to get laid off again lol.

P.S: the job hunting has been wildd till now. It's tough out there PM Folks!

Bhai layoff kar dete hai kisi ka bhi kabhi bhi. Work culture bahot zyada ghatia hai. Bas join karke paise aaenge aur din raat regret karne ka bhi time nahi rahega. Weekends pe bhi kaam karoge no sat no sun

Lot of misinformation regarding layoffs here, only two layoffs happened since the inception, first one is smaller one happened in peak covid, like all orgs, and second the bigger one happened in January this year. It's been quite a fine since.

Yeah the work culture might have took the toll, like being lean means pace and volume is more, and you won't find lot of cheerful people around. But quality of work is still there.

They have started forcing everyone to work from the office at Bangalore. Also, all the perks that they offered earlier have started to vanish. Better to stay away.

No. Company has very little runway left. All startups are finding it difficult to raise funds.

If you join any money losing business you are going to be in some pressure for the next 12-18 months. Sadly there aren't too many money making companies offering PM roles.

AI/ML were least affected in the layoffs. It is safer to join there (compared to other teams with SC).

50 only in tech and product. Apparently the plan is to let go of 15% to 20% workforce!

Sharechat reviews

Hey all, I am interviewing at Sharechat and wanted to know how healthy is the startup. It is always in news for wrong reasons like heavy losses or founders exiting or something. Is this stable?
