Should we go to USA for better life?? Even if we have job in india with 25LPA.

And get shot by a white guy screaming "go back to your country"
Anyone who creates such posts has already made up their mind to go US in most cases. Many a times people are just looking for validation for their decision to go to US.
Arey jana hai to jao bhai, kisi ne mana thodi kia
Not really. Maybe they are confused and are trying to figure out a way out of choices in front of them. We as part of this community should try and help them out with clarity when we can

The major concern with moving to the USA is that lifestyle is expensive, in 25lk you can afford a good rented house, a maid, a cook etc. Even 150k in the USA won't be enough to do that.
And your salary will increase at a much faster rate than what in the USA so your lifestyle affordability will even increase more in India with time.
You should compare apple to apple life style comparison rather than salary comparison, before moving there.

if an apple to apple comparison was to happen, many wouldnt have shifted. Frankly @Loudcrystal you ahould just see whether financially and economically it makes more sense or not. Good thing abt India is jugaad, definitive growth over the next few years and the ability to do more in less money. In US you would get- clean air, clean food but thats all with that salary.

Hey man,
Good question. See, I'd say, figure out what you mean by better life. Do 1 thing, find out 3 people who you know who have been to US.
Ask them why they chose to settle there.
Ask pros and cons they feel about living there.
Now, you already know pros and cons of living here.
Now, evaluate based on what you want in your life as better life. Make your priorities known.
Once you do this, you will be able to make a decision. Then just trust your gut and go ahead.
PS - there are always pros and cons of any place you stay. It's upto you on what pros or cons are acceptable for you and which ones aren't

Agree. I've personally been in US for 5 years and last year hit my 5th year after coming back to India. I was having a discussion with someone who did similar, their pros n cons was completely different from mine. Personally I am happy with the decision to come back but I understand it's highly subjective.

"better life" is subjective. I highly doubt you can get the level of comfort in usa that you can with 25lpa in india.

But we can easily get more than that?
Consider it if getting offers of 150k plus. Else stay in India.
I think the OP is talking about studying and then getting a job in US

stay in india let's have 6G implemented. gone are the days of American dream now it's our time.
Singapore even Hong Kong is 1000x better than US. Crazy opportunities there if you’re in your early 20s.
