 I don't really think about time utilisation, waste a hell of a lot of time on the internet.

 You doom scroll on twitter / reddit / grapevine, check messages on random discord servers and waste away life 🤷

- Will use chatgpt for some interesting questions that's bothering me 
 - Use social media, look through my line and surrounding and eavesdrop on some interesting gossips 
 - watch TV shows on netflix with subtitles, or if I am packing earphones, use that 
 - call some friend and chat 
 - plan my next day or current day's next things to do 
 - bitch about the line I am in with the person behind me, then it would lead to bitch about everything that's wrong with the city, country etc

Talk to people in the front and back, at least no to. Mindless scrolling!

How Do you guys prevent sleeping after having lunch in the office?

I have to attend 2-3 hour long zoom meetings daily.
Its basically a scrum call where I get the limelight for 15 mins and for the rest of the time , I sit idle.

In the remaining time, 
1. I watch pubg gameplay videos in mute on YouTube.
2. Surf social media on mute
3. Apply for jobs
4. Remain calm and meditate by watch my breath go in and out.

Can someone please give me more productive/ non- productive ideas to pass time.

Curious to know what to do folks here do in their working hours when they are having a chill workload week/day in a WFH setup.

I just hopelessly wait for some ping or adhoc task to come up and end up wasting the whole time scrolling the phone.

What to do when bored during working hours

It’s clear to me that this isn’t good for me. My interaction with the outside world and being in the present is inversely proportional to how much I use IG/smartphone.

IG is obv the strongest drug, but in general want to be more conscious about what I do on my phone, when Inuse it.

Looking for genuine advice. Please help 🙏🏻

People who reduced IG/Smartphone usage, how did you do it?

Thanks to social media, my attention span has new lows. Working remotely is making me inactive and end up spending tooo much time on scrolling. Not able to continuously work for even one hour without checking the phone. Anyone in a similar situation and how are you trying to get better?

I have been trying to cut back my screen time. 

Thinking of not using phone/laptop for an entire day except for making and receiving calls.

This is worse addiction than smoking, drinking. 

Haven't watched any short/reels for 5 days straight feeling like a void inside. 

But its better, Watching reels/shorts would give a feeling of satisfaction because of the dopamine release.
So seeking other experiences for that dopamine hit. Life is getting better.

Done with my end-sem, and started building projects and learning new concepts for like 15hr+/day, but now it's getting boring for me(I like working on projects) no physical interactions with friends just sitting in a room and coding😩. bruh sometimes I like watching series, movies, and animes but now that's also getting me bored.

Any suggestion what you all do in such time? I wanted to be productive, spend time where boredom can be escaped but also get some productive output.🫂

Hi guys I really need a help and suggestions- I work with government client. The client and corporate team uses WhatsApp for formal communications. If this wasn’t enough, they also send texts during non- working hours/days. Even on Sunday mornings/nights any day/time. I have Saturday working as client works on Saturday. So it’s like everyday work related thing pops up on phone. How should I deal about this. It gives me anxiety that I don’t even wish to touch my phone on off. I tried keeping WhatsApp off and phone on flight mode but then I also have number given to others like for online delivery,bank  and other important stuff. Please help.
