It's been almost a month at my new job and among other things, the transition from email to slack for internal conversations has been very very interesting. 

previously everything had to be on email for it to be considered legit, slack was also there but not an official channel. 
now it is slack and only slack, personally prefer this.

The new features in slack really makes it one and only place to do your everyday tasks.
You can connect with your colleagues 
You can do a huddle, can share shreen too
You can create canvas which is basically like a confluence page
You can even create boards in canvas to track your tasks 
and many more

Somewhere or other i feel that if atlassian do that, they'll have a great advantage over the competition, because many companies already use their products

Springboot Java Projects Suggestions

I’ve had this idea for a SaaS since the last 2 years and I’ve been passively trying to build it into existence but no luck. I tried pitching the idea to few VCs and mentors, all of them seemed to validate it for potential. But again, these are people I know personally and unless they have their skin in the game, can’t take their praises to anything tangible in the absence of constructive criticism. Same case with friends who I talk to - everyone likes the idea, but doesn’t want to build it. The idea doesn’t seem interesting enough for them to consider building it even as a side project. Mostly I believe this is because the product targets an industry where there’s sufficient tech involved - yet very less techies who are building for the space. I’ve personally had experience tinkering with development, but haven’t built anything tangible to fruition ever from scratch. This idea has been around my whiteboard for over 2 years - seems like a super obvious idea for a much needed demand. Back then I thought someone would build it before me and kept seeking professionals for help, especially with no-code and AI code tools. Yet, nobody has seemed to move a needle and the space is largely under one monopoly (startup). I want to take it up as a challenge and build it on my own as a side project and see where it goes. Maybe if nobody has built it in 2 years, nobody probably will in the next year either. That’s good enough time for me to acquire my initial set of users. I badly want to build it bootstrapped, but I know that’s a far fetched dream especially given my lack of technical expertise. Hopefully within 6 months, I should have an MVP - that might attract potential cofounders or investors. Wish me luck, folks! 🤞🏽

Revolutionary SaaS idea

I am creating a software solution (mobile app+web app) which can help a small group of any and friends group to create a workspace(similar to slack) and then create events and they will be able to create tasks for those events and can also chat with people in the same workspace.
So basically a (jira+slack) for non organisation peeps.

I started creating this two months back, and a basic MVP will be completed by the end of april.

I want to know from you people "The Product managers" how can I do marketing for this solution, can't  promote it on my personal linkedin as my company is not okay with their employee working on side peoject

Hey folks, I have been working for the past few months on the centralised internal search tool for all the companies and I need your honest feedback and feedback.

Problem: Today, every company uses "a ton" of tools- Notion, confluence, Drive, PDFs etc. and the information is scattered and hard to find.

Solution: I (along with my co-founder) am working on a centralised search tool where you connect all of these tools as integrations and voila you find it. Plus, we are also adding a layer of asking questions, "What is our churn rate" Instead of finding a document and then navigating through it to find the answer, you will get the answer right there.

The moonshot here is an OS that runs on the cheapest computers, but connects to powerful remote servers, allowing you to run any application you want so you are no longer limited by your hardware if you don’t have a powerful PC.

Currently I am able to support VSCode and Blender. I’m looking for feedback so feel free to play devil’s advocate and ask me questions about it. I know GV is the best platform for this.
