Like the best line up would not be of people from 2000 doing a matrimony portal or a loss making Chinese whitelabelled headphone company or a company inherited from daddy?

Deepinder from Zomato, guy from Swiggy, Ritesh from Oyo, Kamath brothers, Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Bhavesh Agarwal these are few of the best we could have. I guess they are too busy doing important things.

- Zomato's stock hit a new high of Rs230 on the BSE, boosting its market cap past Rs1.8 trillion and making Goyal India's richest professional manager with a net worth of Rs8,300 crore.
- The surge in stock is driven by expectations that Zomato's quick commerce business, Blinkit, will outperform peers and turn profitable sooner than anticipated.
- Analysts expect Blinkit to surpass Zomato's food delivery business in gross order value (GOV) and strengthen its market position, despite a longer path to sustainable EBITDA margins.
- Goldman Sachs values Blinkit at $13 billion, higher than Zomato's core food delivery business, predicting significant growth in GOV and EBITDA by FY29.

He seems very calm and composed on Shark Tank and seems to have a certainty about himself. However I don’t think I can extrapolate it to his behaviour in his company as its leader. 
Would love to hear from current and ex-employees of Zomato on what their experience has been with the Founder.

The company did around 10-15% silent layoffs in the last cycle by putting people in PIP. 
My Manager told me that he has pressure on him to put at least 1 or 2 people in PIP, make them leave the company and reduce costs.

Later, the company did as low an appraisal as 2%.

Senior folks are leaving specifically Frontend Developers.

Salaries of a lot of SDE-2 are below 30 LPA.

They have started new positions called Product Developers which will do the same work as SDEs but with a lesser package. PD-1 salary is around 10-12 lakhs and of Lead PD is 20-22 lakhs.

The company is putting itself in a position where it wants people to leave on their own.

There are almost zero perks in the company. 
The team outing budget is a joke which is 2k INR per person per year. That is 500 rupees per person per quarter. 

Also making office mandatory from November.
