Some questions related to renting a flat in Bangalore
I will be moving to Bangalore in the coming June/July. Need to look for a flat to rent in the Whitefield area. Some questions regarding the same: 1. What would be the approximate cost to rent a 2/3 bhk in sharing in the Whitefield area. 2. How many months before moving should I ideally start looking for a flat. 3. Any hacks to ease the process of house hunting?
Whitefield is a big area. So, my strong suggestions is to live in a temporary place after landing, find homes that are close to office, like max to max 5kms.
If you are living alone, checkout 1BHK, a lot of them are spacious. I found a good one for 9k(rent + monthly maintenance + car parking).

I’ll be joining a company in Whitefield near Phoenix Marketplace in late April/early May. Any suggestions would be very appropriated.
PGs are good over there, AFAIK. But see if it fits your budget. 10k for single or two shared room is a bit on the expensive side.
Some companies offer like a 1 week accomodation for people who are shifting to BLR. So, check if you company offers that. If yes, take it up. Once you join the company, you can talk with someone you meet on day 1 or day 2 about accomodation or maybe with your reporting manager if he's super chill about it. You might get far better suggestions as they have been through this phase as well and knows the area better.
That's how I got two really good deals and closed on one.

White field has a decent amount of supply. Ideally you’ll be paying close to 45 to 60k for 2/3 bhk.
Suggestion: start looking 30-45 days in advance. If possible stay on company expense for 20 days and visit as many flats as possible. Then get something set it up and move the family

Isn't 45-60k a lot? People have been telling me that I can get a decent 2-3 bhk for 20-35k. Also, I'm not looking to move my family. I'm just a fresher.
High rise apartments would cost a lot. Try to search in small apartments
