Should I buy or not
Planning to buy a phone but considering I make around 80k, is it wise to spend 40k on phone.
Also if yes which one should I buy

I have iphone, I regret it except for privacy. After few yrs, they make the mobile slow which is very pathetic about apple. Not going to buy it next time

I've used iPhone, I've used Android. Privacy is no more the USP. Android offers the same privacy related features. In terms of data privacy, Apple too has started mining the users data and will start OS level targeted advertising too

It's never worth it. Android phones have the same or better features at a fraction of the cost. Apple ecosystem is very close-walled too, and if you ever lose access to your account then God help you and your work.

Pixel 7 Pro is an amazing phone that is going to retail at 40-50K in the upcoming Flipkart sale. You could purchase it. If you are willing to compromise a bit on the video front and maybe battery life (I don't know for sure but most Android phones have significant battery life reductions within 1-2 years of usage), then it is a very good bet.
Apple has successfully established itself as a status product. If you are okay with not playing status games then go ahead.
