Hi All,
I'm working as IC in walmart and every day I do the same repetitive work and I know someone from Nykaa and they are forming a new team and they have an opening for Staff SDET and will be leading the QA team. But compensation wise there will be no much change , there will be no stocks in Nykaa instead they will increase my fixed pay. How should I go about it?

So I was working wfh since past year and recently shifted to a project after a promotion, it’s a nice project and something I was looking forward to work with, but now my reporting manager says that you have to clock atleast 8 hours daily at this tracking software ( Nippon Buddy ). 
And I’ve to report to office 12 days a month, that’s okay but this 8 hours capture time is kinda nuts. 
Do you guys have these kinda policy as well or is it just at service based companies ?

Now I got another offer from one startup phyllo. And it's complete remote and giving better package than nykaa. 
Should I consider leaving nykaa and join that?
Here in nykaa we have to take permission from manager to take wfh also.

2. Principle of Scarcity

When people hear that tickets are almost sold out, they rush to buy them, fearing they'll miss out. This urgency and exclusivity drive demand. In business, create a sense of urgency by highlighting limited availability or exclusive offers to encourage quick decision-making.

3. Principle of Consensus
People follow the actions of others. In hotels, signs asking guests to reuse towels for environmental reasons achieve 34% compliance. Changing the message to "8 out of 10 guests reuse their towels" increases compliance to 52%. Leverage social proof by showcasing how many others have made the same choice.

4. Principle of Authority
People are more likely to be influenced by those who are authoritative and knowledgeable. For example, dentists in white coats endorse toothpaste, and renowned movie directors promote the camera capabilities of mobile phones. Authority and credibility build trust, making people more likely to follow their advice.

5.Principle of Liking
People are more likely to be influenced by those they like. According to Cialdini's research, MBA students who discussed personal interests before negotiating reached agreements 90% of the time, compared to 55% for those who got straight to business.

I left the product design team of Nykaa a few days back & I foresee things going from bad to nasty. My x colleagues are telling me how a large bunch of folks are put on PIP deliberately. Almost all of them have gotten no or single digit appraisal. Just this week they are now forcing even the Tech. Employees to work from office for 5 days a week, this will ensure that a lot of people will eventually leave the company. The new CTO is just trying to bring the amazon work culture, don’t be surprised to hear some bad news about Nykaa in coming days. The fashion business is itself struggling to make business, Superstore might not make any profits anytime soon.

I am a 2023 CSE Grad from Tier 1, Currently I am an Automation Engineer at Sprinklr and I recently received an offer from Swiggy for the role of ASDE backend, before joining Sprinklr as an Automation Engineer, I interned in a startup where my tech stack was backend. I am earning 32 Lpa with 21 base



Is it worth interviewing and joining this company?
If yes what kind of questions can I expect in the interview?

I had an online test with some mcqs and 2 dsa questions. 1 was easy and the other was medium.
