Go to swimming, play badminton, squash etc... go on treks , if you live near any playground area, try to jump into anyone's team I think these are the few of the best ways to , I think anything related to sports can help. Before COVID, Adidas use to have running group - Adidas runners, if you are interested and If it still exists, perhaps you can join(will definitely prefer )
When I was in Bangalore, used an app called Playo where you can join random sports group and ultimately makes friend. Nowadays I am hearing of social mixers event happening in thr city, but not sure how good they are.
