Suggestions to learn Kubernetes- Grapevine

I am writing this with a lot of disappointment. 
I have been working in TCS from the past 3 years. I got allocated to a project which required very little technical knowledge. As a result of this, I have not gained any technical experience. 
I have been trying to learn DevOps. There isn’t a shortage of resources as there’s plenty of them online. However what I find the most challenging is that I am unable to create projects of my own. Most of the online tutorials do not spend quality time on teaching how to replicate them locally. 
Most of them are on cloud (AWS/Azure) which require a subscription. 
It wold be great to get some guidance on how to proceed with devops and how I can switch to the field without technical experience.

I am to move into an ML platform engineering team a few months down the line.  Most job opportunities for an ML platform engineer mentions strong knowledge of kubernetes, Kubeflow/ML flow, API design and deployment along with coding language(usually Java, python or Go). 
Are there any must read resources which could help me while upskilling for this role? I already have access to O'Reilly and have read and practiced most of the exercises on Kubernetes.

Hey folks, after learning the basics of golang. How do I get into backend Development with Golang? I don't have the energy and time after my hectic and toxic work to do long video courses, unless it's very very good.

Can you please suggest a way that I can learn backend Development in a way that I can create my own product from end to end? And if you had to start the backend Development from scratch, How will you do it?

I'm currently having 1.5 years of experience and wants to shift my technology domain to kubernetes devops. Currently working on GCP. Haven't really met anyone from K8s, so how does it works! Hope there won't be a 24/7 service hours. Because the major reason I'm shifting the domain is to avoid rotational shifts!
Also how the salary hike will be? Will it worth it? I'm having knowledge in Kubernetes, docker, GCP, VMware and terraform. 
It's really hectic to find a new domain guys, so kindly share your thoughts!

Hi All,

I need suggestion from everyone from software/cloud/devops industry. As right i in a very worst condition. After working 2 years straight as aws cloud engineer i joined a product based company which promised that the work i’ll be doing is will be related cloud, devops and automation. But since one year i haven’t got any work which was promised else they provide me work to automate onprem network devices automation that too i have to request my team to give me some work. As i am the only one in the team who knows automation and cloud related things. I try to gave some interviews but some say no because of current salary and for some of them they have very high expectations as i am 3 years experienced guy. Can anyone who have been through same situation please guide me or help as i really wanted to grow technically but i am unable to.

Unable to switch job in Devops Engineer Field

I am a senior Data engineer(9YOE) and have worked on a large scale Data warehousing, Spark, Orchestration(Airflow) and visualization on AWS and Azure. I currently don't have scope for tech stack improvement in my current org and would like to learn and implement my personal projects. So far, I have been advised to learn golang and kubernetes so that I could deploy ML models in the future or even move into observability space. Any suggestions on what tech stack I should learn? I want to jump to startups in a couple of months and eventually move into a pure software engineering role. 
Already working on leetcode and practicing system design for the same.

Hello cloud Engineers!

Cloud DevOps Engineer from a Year and a Middleware Admin formerly. 
I'm eager to switch to MLOps and learnt a bit of Basic concepts in Python. 
I bumped into some ML basics Training from YouTube - AndreNg, iNeuron etc and couldn't find a Quality content that covers all Fundamental concepts. 
I find most of them in GitHub and I'm a kind of learner by watching the concepts explained (trainer videos) with practical lab examples.
Can anyone suggest if you know any learning courses?
Or what are your recommendations from your learning experience?

1) Which tech books are you currently reading. Also how do you guys manage your time among office work, personal learnings, social life, etc. It feels pretty darn hard to do so.
