Waiting for selection or rejection mail after an interview can be overwhelming. Generally, it takes 15-20 days for TCS to send the selection mail. However, many are of the opinion that they don’t send any rejection mail. If your interview has gone well and it has been 10 days, then you still have time for HR to contact you or send you an official selection email. If not, then you can send a follow-up email to the recruiter regarding the same. If it’s been more than 20 days and still they don’t send you any email, you must look out for other companies. Remember, rejections are a part of a career and you can always do better in the next interview once you learn from your previous mistakes.

I had an interview at TCS around 10 days ago. I have not received any update from their end since then. How much time does it take to get the selection (or rejection) mail from the HR department? Should I send a follow-up mail to enquire about it?

I have attended the technical as well as managerial interview in TCS The panel said that you've cleared both the rounds. She gave an ibegin link in the team chat itself and said that after filling all the information you'll get a call from HR. But in the ibegin portal my status is showing as "profile Created". When Can I expect a call from HR regarding salary discussion ? Because of no official confirmation I'm doubtful about my selection.

So i got an email from the hr for the video interview in TCS.  I shared my interest in the same. They schedule  it for a particular time frame .

The Hr confirmed my availability over the call one day before but i never received any video link to join for the interview. I mailed the recruiter but no response from them. 

Why is interviewee time  not considered  important . I took a  half day off for this interview and at least I deserve one email if i was rejected last minute or the interviewer is not available or any xyz reason but I deserve that.

I recently appeared for a walk-in in TCS for the role of ServiceNow Developer post 10 days from the interview I got a mail to upload my documents followed by a call from HR to discuss salary, post which he shared the CTC breakup over mail and asked me to acknowledge it. Its been 10 days now I still haven't received any update on the portal my documents say pending for verification? Can I expect a offer at this stage? If yes how long would it take?

Hi, I gave interview in Deloitte on 22nd April but I dint get any update after that. Later I called HR to know my update, on 2nd May he confirmed that I’m selected & my name is freezed in system as selected and hiring is freezed for my position. But he said that further communication will happen after 10 days only so around 10th may HR will call for further process he mentioned. Does Deloitte takes so much of time to release offer letter?? Any idea about how many days does deloitte take to release offer letter?

I had given an interview in TCS and got a mail on 12th Aug stating that I have cleared both Technical and Managerial rounds. I have uploaded all the documents on ibegin portal. 

Also, on 16th Aug I got a call from HR stating that my BGV has been done and they will release the offer in 1-2 weeks. 

Can someone please let me know how much time it takes to release an offer letter.

I had a very positive interview experience with one of the firms. I had cleared 3 rounds and my final round was a culture round with HR head and few colleagues from other departments. 

We had a very fruitful and fun conversation as well throughout the call.

But after that it's been 3 weeks and they haven't contacted me or even sent a rejection mail. Not sure how to go about this, I have sent the HR a mail too to check on any updates. Any advice on how should I proceed?

I am 22M, completed BE in computer Engineering.  Upon completion of graduation (May 2023), I worked as an ML engineer (internship); fast forward to December 2023, I had interview scheduled for ML position (off-campus) at reputed company (non-IT), which I passed and after interview in December, I was told to wait for offer letter. Actually, I was referred by the employee of the company. So, till the end of January, I did not receive any update from company regarding offer letter. I asked a person who referred me, he told me that HR has been changed and due to that reason, your onboarding process might be on hold. However, In February new HR got hired and I literally left the hope to receive callback from the company, but after some time I received call from new HR, and again scheduled interview with same manager with whom I was previously interviewed. Manager was quite satisfied with me and asked me If I was ready to join as soon as possible. I assured him to join ASAP. After this interview also I was eagerly waiting for the offer letter; Again, left the hope of receiving any response. However, now it was a beginning of March, and one day I received call from HR, asking for my documents, to release the offer letter. Now it's almost mid-March and again no callback from HR, and no update regarding my joining. It's a journey of 4 months. I never wrote a follow-up mail to HR or manager regarding, onboarding process. Till now I was just asking my referee regarding any updates. It seems cumbersome to him also to ask manager repeatedly regarding my offer-letter. Should I write follow-up mail to either HR or manager. If yes, what should I mention in it?

I recently got an offer and the notice period over there is 60 days. In my past companies it was 30 days everywhere. Just wanted to know your opinion.

Got my first offer from ey gds india , provided joining date as 15 th july but my notice period ends at 25 th july. I have ask them to revise offer with new joining date but they mention will do that after a month or so is this normal practice? As I have resigned in my current organisation

Hi all, It’s been more than 4 years in TCS. I have been trying to switch for last 6 months. Received some calls from HRs but as soon as they hear TCS and NOT ON NOTICE PERIOD, their response immediately changes. They will tell you that they will share interview details but they won’t.
I have also tried lying about notice period with different different excuse but still they would not believe it.
Now i am thinking about putting in my papers and continue looking. Maybe reducing the notice period will help but it looks a big risk in current scenario.

HR told that  has to take approval and after that offer letter can be released.

Will they send offer letter to everyone who have cleared the interview or due to some budget they don't give offer letter?
