I had an interview at TCS around 10 days ago. I have not received any update from their end since then. How much time does it take to get the selection (or rejection) mail from the HR department? Should I send a follow-up mail to enquire about it?
Great that you got the TCS interview mail and you appeared for it. Par agar aap wait kar rahe ho ki they will send you a rejection mail (if you’re not selected) then I think you shouldn’t hold back. Because TCS guys don’t send rejection mail. 10 din hi toh hue hai since you gave the interview, so wait na. Maybe they’ll send you a confirmation mail.
I got my selection letter in two weeks after my interview in TCS. Relax as TCS interview mail takes time for updates as they are usually hiring in bulk. If in your case if it has been 10 days then sending a polite email to TCS HR will keep you updated and show effort.
Buddy, you are worried for no reason. These are big companies, and the hiring process here takes time. Wait for at least another week before reaching out to HR. In companies like TCS, they will not ghost you if you are not selected so anyway you will get the mail. And if this was your first round of interviews, then they will not reject you on the basis of just one meeting. Stay positive, you will get your TCS interview mail soon, within 15-21 days. Chill.
