Tech salaries

Hi non tech person here. Wondering how such inflated salaries in tech will survive in comparison to salaries of say marketing or sales in an organisation. The bubble seems to be bursting but will love you know the thoughts of tech people. Should I make a move towards a tech role after learning coding, I have PQE of 6 years in my field and earn decent.

Bubble seem to be bursting? Go through some old threads/polls and you’ll see salaries are still good/inflated. Younger folks are getting high packages which kinda raises the bar everywhere

It's actually the opposite, we barely get paid in India. When you take into account that most IT companies have US clients who pay in US, we're underpaid.

The salaries will never go down, they'll go extinct

I think they will increase. Because you will need many skilled people to make something like chat gpt. And more of this kind of tech everyone will want. Plus it is a black box. So enjoy paisa.
