GPT just sorts the men from the boys. Can it do stuff on its own? No not really. Not good stuff. Can it act as a multiplier to your output? Yes. Massively so. It’s not a silver bullet for every unsolved problem. But what it can do is put your personal productivity on steroids. It’s not an alien invasion as some people claimed, but it is on par with word processing in terms of productivity gains.

Fugazzy. Generative AI is going to eat up most low skilled SDE job in the next decade. I literally won an 'award' in my company by showing how we can literally do a lot of the work done by our data scientists using the right prompt!

Is front end dead?
It's not about front or backend, it's about the complexity of work you do and your ability to solve tough problems which AI can't easily do. If you are a backend engineer just creating basic APIs, you will be done too.
