Currently at mid-mvp stage fintech startup looking for pre-seed funding to resume their progress. Does this qualify the requirements to achieve a pre-seed funding ? I bootstrapped the startup myself at the beginning and we have not yet reached the stage where we can present a MVP for investors which is a huge setback we are currently facing. I tried to apply to few Indian based pre-seed ventures but all I got was just rejection mails not sure why. Prepared a pitch deck and a company structure profile although all our employees are remote. I just don't know who or how to approach an angel investor or a ventures firm so lacking expertise in this field. Suggestions would be appreciated ☺️

I'll start - One of the older VC firms with an office in Indiranagar (also probably planning to shut their scout vehicle fund after a few employee exits) reels of toxicity at the helm. GP who comes from a rich family has the habit of arm twisting employees and putting them down even on the smallest of the mistakes. What's your toxic VC story?

One of my founder friends recently observed that Abhishek Nag, who held a partner position at Lightspeed, was no longer listed on their website team’s page. Additionally, they noticed that correspondence from him was now coming from his personal email address as not from his official Lightspeed email.

This is the biggest problem with VC ecosystem 4 yoe kids taking calls on experienced, hardworking founders. Dude first learn the game then invest , judge people playing the game. VCs know nothing about how to run startups. Unless they have been entrepreneurs themselves. IMO It's a colossal waste of talent to become a VC for young PPL.

So stable money is just another fintech platform where basically you can do FD from various banks and corporates.

This concept isn't new, other apps and websites offer the same as well.

Weirdly, everyone is posting about it on LinkedIn & Twitter. I can see that stable money is giving merch to them but are these people getting merch just to post a positive review? Anyone has insider news?

Is it good idea to switch to a small startup in india from big startup\company like gojek where the future is uncertain till next layoff is announced.

Context: I do have an offer - to join the second cohort. I have 1.5 years of work ex at micro impact fund. Currently I’m working with a great early stage fund as an intern in the investment team.
I have been having seconds thoughts about joining the program since few days.

Eventually goal is to break into VC post the program. Would love to get candid thoughts and feedback?
