[Thread] What is your favourite movie on Finance?
Just finished watching "The Big Short" and I must say the movie is perhaps a great recap of what it may have been like during GFC.
The Wolf of wall street . I had only watched this movie which is by far closest to finance xd
It is a good movie but too much show sha. It is the Delhi of Finance Movies. Dhoom Dhadaka but low on Finance.

Boiler Room
Barbarians at the Gate
Two different ends of the spectrum in the finance world.
Barbarians is about the LBO of RJR Nabisco - boardroom drama.
Boiler Room is fiction, but well made on pump and dump schemes and how it impacts the lay investor.

Okay combining Finance and Business - Social Network, by far. The best movie for me personally.
Pursuit of Happyness too, again, very little finance in it
Margin Call
The big short
The company men
Watch them in the above order.
What happens before a financial crisis, during and after.

Most seem covered, ‘The Laundromat’ is a fun watch on the panama papers leak ( Mossack Fonseca fiasco)
I see others have already mentioned most of the movies I like.
I'd recommend Madoff: The Monster of Wall Street. It's not a movie but a mini show about one of the biggest ponzi schemes ever.
