Tokopedia Layoff <> shutting down India office

Heard Tokopedia is shutting down both offices in India and all teams will be laid off. Is this true? Any one from Tokopedia can confirm?

1. Recently Tiktok bought 75.01% of Tokopedia shares, making it biggest shareholder. And considering Tiktok and other Chinese companies are banned in India. There might be regulatory issues with running Tokopedia office from India 2. On Ecommurze platform someone from India Team confirmed that that their VP of Affiliates has informed them that office will be shut down, so advised them to start looking for new job

Gojek Pune Office Shutdown

Confirmed from credible source. Gojek Pune office is going to be shutdown in May or June. All people from Pune office will be layoff and no other option will be provided. So all Pune people , start looking out soon.

TikTok buys 75% stake in Tokopedia

Chinese companies / apps have not been allowed to operate in India, now with TikTok buying 75% in Tokopedia (not 75% of gojek), what do you think will be fate on Tokopedia's India offices? Would Tiktok keep Tokopedia's India office keep it untouched Or Expand Tokopedia's India office and get some of atiktok work also her Or Over medium term close India office as Indian government doesn't likes Chinese apps / companies.
