Niyo global works fairly well. No challenges so far, have been using it for the past 1+ month (for both online transactions & FX cash withdrawal). Go for it.

Used Orient Exchange for converting INR into FX - did some basic benchmarking, found them to offer the best rates.

Niyo global works really well in SEA but have faced some issues in europe. Try taking out some cash from an ATM (don’t do this from the airport) for emergencies and carry one or two international visa/master credit cards. That’s more than enough. Safe travels :)

I looked up Niyo global and Bookmyforex Make my  trip card. Does it make sense to have one for less frequqent travellers? Has anyone used them? How has the customer service been?

Do you use credit cards from your Indian banks, debit cards, or something like Niyo Global? To be honest, I have heard negative reviews of Niyo Global and how it has been shut down now. Can someone confirm this? Also, what could be the best way to make payments there? Thanks.

Any recommendations? I see that there are a lot of options like Niyo Global, Fi, Jupiter, IDFC WOW.

Hi, I will be travelling to Dubai soon just for 12 days. This is my first time stepping out of India and its only for a short duration. 

I need some recommendations on credit cards which has the following:

- 0 foreign markup fee. I should be able to withdraw cash and pay for things in dubai without worrying about the markup fee. 
- 0 or low currency conversion fee. 
- Should have decent credit limit upto atleast 1 lakh.
- 0 or very low joining fee
- 0 or very low annual fee
- After returning to India, I will be using it here. So it'll be great if it has shopping cashbacks. 
- Not interested in forex prepaid cards since we can't use it in India afterwards and it has a inactive fee. 
- I don't care about lounge access since its just a short trip.

Appreciate your suggestions. Also recommend what cards which you've used in past and if its good or bad.
