I've worked with the CEO/COO at Unacademy. AMA.
Though in all probability, what you've already heard is true.

Hey Viners🙋, I have worked with Unacademy for around 3 years as SSE. Shoot all your questions to me regarding the company’s culture and state, will be happy to answer them 🙂
How's the work culture there? And what type of organizational structure they have ?
@Bittergourd Work culture is very fast and dynamic, you might get exhausted because of work. And projects gets finalised, prioritised and gets dropped in between very quickly.
Organisational structure is quite same as other companies.
Hows your experience?
Do you get employee discount on courses? If yes, need one 👉👈
No 😅 @treyhey
You can get a test subscription on any course, plan on unacademy for free for 2 months. You can renew it after the two months. There is an open channel with bot for this. Mostly people use it for testing but yeah. You can access anything you want. The OP is probably dumb enough to not know this.
How is the Analytics team?
It was good but after layoffs there is nothing left as such @PurpleAspic1
Do you think the real future for Unacademy is offline and there wasn’t much of an opportunity in online education?
@Brisktalk that’s true! Last 1 year there was a steep decline in online’s revenue and leadership was trying hard to get it up with different type of silly projects but none of them gave the expected results.
The only area that could make money is Offline but I think even that would not last much as they are on full savings mode(reduction in expenses, reduced employees benefits to 0, layoffs) and this requires lot of money.
Though in all probability, what you've already heard is true.

Getting interviewed there for a sr business role. They are diversifying into a Naukri space with their product- Nextlevel.
What’s your take on their work culture at leadership level and the focus on actual value creation?
Hey all. My first post here. Can anyone tell me what the work culture is like at Unacademy and Upgrad. Currently in another ed-tech firm and looking for a shift.
