I have received two job offers: Company A: 40 Lakh CTC 2 Lakh Joining Bonus 1.5 Lakh relocation Bonus 30,000 Stock Units for 4 years (25% vesting each year), with a predicted value of $4 per unit. So total = $4 * 30,000 units = $120,000 over 4 years Company B: 36 Lakh CTC 3 Lakh Joining Bonus 1 Lakh relocation Bonus RSUs worth $52000 over 4 years (vesting: 40%, 30%, 20%,10%) Both companies are reputable, but I am leaning towards the second offer. I would like to negotiate either a higher base salary or more RSUs since the current ESOP has no immediate value. Could you help me evaluate which offer is better and advise on how to approach this negotiation?

Bhai..mei tumhara EM nahi😂. But regardless of that don't keep joining bonus as a deciding factor , kyuki zyada difference hai nahi.
Same for relocation.
Company B and A mei whichever is closer to IPO is better. (News ya HR par mat rely karna how soon the IPO will be , if you can reach out to it's employees here.. that's the best). All HRs use IPO as a gimmick to lure folks even if it's actually a million miles away. Uncertain bhi hota hai ye sab.
Simple comparison par A ka offer is looking good.
Teams bhi dekh lo ek baari just. Use Company A offer to negotiate with B.

Agar bonus hata doon toh for the 1st year company A ka 40 lakh base and 25L Ke ESOP honge and company B ke 36 lakh base and 17L ke RSU
Now question here is RSU mtlb abhi cash main paise mil jayenge and ESOP mtlb jab IPO aayega tab
Ab Maine agar RSU wali company ko bolo ki ESOP ko consider kre toh wo bolenge unki abhi koi value nhi hai toh Maine negotiate kese karu
