Volunteering

Looking for some great volunteer opportunities in Bangalore, both online and offline, that I can take part in over the weekends. I’ve been a part of AIESEC until I was 25 and had a fantastic experience, so I’m hoping to find something similar where I can make a positive impact. If you know of any organizations or programs that are looking for volunteers, or if you have any personal experiences with volunteering in Bangalore that you’d like to share, I’d love to hear from you. Any advice on where to start or how to find these opportunities would be greatly appreciated!

Hi everyone, need your suggestions on something. I was recently talking to my mom, who's currently a housewife. She's been a working woman till her late 20s and then left her job because of my birth. Later, when I reached my teens, she tried resuming her career but couldn't succeed becaus companies won't take someone with such a huge career break. She also tried starting something of her own but didn't work out because of the nature of the business. So she's been at home for a very long time. Now, I am a working man myself and usually not at home because of tight work schedules. My mother gets a lot of time at home and has been wanting to do something but is unable to get a direction. What are some of the things she can do to keep herself busy/ restart her career? Some things that I could think of were: 1) can do some short term educational courses online 2) join some NGO, or some communities (pls note, she is not the type to go to kitty parties😅) 3) open a small at-home business (will appreciate ideas for this) Also, is anyone aware of any part-time job portals for women with career breaks? Please drop your suggestions below.
