Want to switch to Product Management
I am a Finance guy with around three years of experience but thinking to move to Product roles in fintech or a products that has anything to do with transactions. Where do I start?

Please be absolutely clear on why you want to switch to product management. It might sound cool to build features and it’s glorified a lot in the past few years. The actual job is a thankless grind with most days making you feel like an imposter mixed with occasional wins.
I see most pms get disillusioned within an year or two.
If you do decide to switch, use your domain expertise and target companies / products which need that kinda knowledge. Those would be best bet in the current market to at least get you an interview. Also be ready to enter at a lower level if you have no prior pm or product analytics experience
Shadow the best PM in your org to see if you like the role.
Done right, its one of the most demanding roles in tech. It's also misunderstood and as a result undercooked - not enough weight in the org / people moving for wrong motivations (mostly visibility) / half bakes processes around product management.
Good luck!
In addition to great answers previously, it's the wrong time to enter Product Management. The market is flooded with laid off PMs and the competition is intense.
