Excessive media and PR coverage all events 2. Deliberate flooding of content trying to set narratives for Anant’s generosity in building a zoo in a geographically irrelevant area and abusing animals by putting them in a zoo with adverse climate 3. Excessive wedding events including Rihanna, beiber etc which could have a been private events This just makes me wonder, if this is the beginning of the fall of Mukesh Ambani. In south India, showing off wealth in a very abrasive public manner is considered to bring ill will and downfall. I wonder why the wedding couldn’t have been a private event for all their invitees. My parents have not accumulated much money, plus i don't want to burden them with the expenses of my marriage, hence I will be sponsoring the marriage on my own. The budget that I have been told is minimum 20L. Tbh, I don't want to spend this much. I was looking for something ~ 5L. INR 10-13 lakh spent per wedding in India. Average annual household income is INR 4 lakh. Assuming 2 households spending, it's 1.2-1.5x their annual income. Assuming only the girl's family paying, it's 3x annual income. It's absurd how much people love to spend to feed and entertain the people they never want to see in their lives again. Also absurd, no big startup in this space. Why is no tech bro/gal conquering the wedding space?
