What cause do you feel strongly about?

There have been many times I have thought if I only I were richer, would have supported A / B. Please don’t give gyaan such as start small, don’t wait etc. The intent of the post is not that - not how do I do X or where do I start. The intent behind this question is to understand what do people on the platform feel strongly about. One of the things that bothers me is that research and scientific pursuit are not free of biases based on where the funding for it comes from. Example - for years oil and fat have been vilified while sugar has not been researched much. EV research being funded by big oil. Big pharma funding research on diseases and there being conflict of interest. How do we build a system that’s truly pursuing knowledge for the sake of moving the species ahead? I don’t have a clean answer but wonder about this often. What scientific findings / research conclusions can I take at face value ? This is a cause I feel strongly about. What is yours?
