What do you do to kill loneliness in hyd or blr? Cafe or pub runs, gym, dating, hookups?
Want to move away from hookups to dating but everyone is just to hookup on dating apps. Really how should i kill time here? Doing gym for 4 hours currently but getting bored. Thinking of trying swimming.

My boyfriend lives in Mumbai and I live in Bangalore
I install bumble to find people to hang out with (I know it’s stupid)
I don’t find anyone worth meeting and then I uninstall the app 😑

The struggle is real, my crush lives in hyd and I’m remote till july. Hope the abs come by then😝
Hyderabad is so lonely. Or looks so. I wish someone setup interest specific dating groups- like Book dating, pub dating, NGO dating, wanderlust dating. I think tinder already has a similar failed version, but may be smthing is missing

Cocktail dating? I can make some awesome cocktails
sure why not!! I am not much into drinks/liquors, but for social occasion sake, all for it🙂👍 5-6 people can gather without telling who is which user on grapevine😄

Hahaha the 2 rules of dating
1. Dont be ugly
2. Remember rule 1
While the rule is true, but it is more about confidence that you project and obviously chivalry, humbleness are important too.
But like to pass resume screening there should be something eye catching and thats where gym comes in.
Ig all that combined works in tandem
Hookups end up killing something inside of you. And you realise it when it's late.

Guys and gals I have joined swimming and a bartending course plus learning to ride a bike.
Also doing gym obviously. But let’s see if I find someone here.
Thank you all for great suggestions 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Learn new skills, read some good books, watch movies, you are health conscious so no problem in that, make new friends by visiting pubs or bars, play some pool, go karting, do some stock market things earn extra money, and a few 100 things you can do when you are single and lonely.

Lol I visited a pub recently and was watching a waitress open a beer bottle on another table. She had such a unique style, she pulled the bottle to the side and flung it open with a pop throwing her hands back on the air as it moved up. Truly impressive. But beer has too many calories 😅.
Stock market is the only thing keeping me alive , but yes go karting sounds fun and gives me an idea to learn driving. Maybe i will try that.
Watching TV is not my cup of tea, unless its house of the dragon.
I love this quote I saw a while back- to make friends, become a regular somewhere.
Book clubs, board games, painting/drawing, volunteering, walking in the park, sports. You name it!
All of these would be a great way to meet new people, and have fun while doing it.
Doing this in a place like Bangalore and Hyderabad shouldn't be too difficult, as these things happen here a lot! (Idk how true it is in Hyderabad, but I'm taking a guess)

That’s a great suggestion and Sounds like a nice way to meet people, I should go swimming and tennis , maybe i will find something interesting.
Agreed. I had been a part of a Volunteering group in Hyderabad. It was interesting, but due to language gap and my own busy-ness, I had stopped after a few months
