Basically the title. What is a business idea you saw or heard of and thought "surely this can't be real" but the other person was totally serious?

I'll go first - a CEO I was talking to went in detail about meeting this student (emphasised on destiny and how bright the student was, etc etc) and said his idea was - Companies can't advertise on their carry bags by law so we should buy that advertising space and sell it to other companies.

For clarification - Courts have said a consumer can't be a buyer as well as advertiser, so if a carry bag has the brand's logo or something on it, you can't charge for it.

This CEO and the "bright student" thought that the law just prohibited the brand from advertising its own self on the bag. I asked him if he was trying to say we should buyout the space on all McDonald's carry bags and advertise Domino's or Reynolds on it, and he said "Yes."

Not really sure if this is the right place to put this up but I wanted to take it out somewhere. I happened to be in a road rage recently. There was this Rapido/Uber biker who was driving rashly. I had seen him but didn’t bother and I was going my way. Suddenly, he overtook me from left and his handle hit on my bike handle. I shouted in panic and he was saying some random shit looking at me - You need to watch out, bro.. something like that.
I was safe and don’t think even the bike had any damage but I lost my calm and wanted to kind of scold him for how he was riding. I followed him driving rashly again for about 500m and caught up and shouted at him saying - bhai shanti se chala or nahi chalana aata hai toh kyun chala rhe ho. And I realised I was about to head on hit an auto wala but braked on time. That auto wala started giving me hand gestures. He was right. I did drive rash.

In the meanwhile, that biker guy went crazy. He got off his bike, took his helmet and signalled at hitting me. The auto wala was standing beside me and he asked what was happening. I said this guy hit my bike and tried to run away. The biker was speaking some rubbish something like - I warned you there also bro.. I went a little numb and didn’t figure what was happening. This guy hit me with his hand on my helmet. I didn’t get hurt but felt the blow. I tried saying something but nothing came out. He hit me again the same way. The auto wala tried to stop him. He kept abusing and then left. I was numb for a few mins. Left from there and reached home safe. 

I am just not able to get these thoughts off my head. The incident keeps flashing. I feel lucky to not have removed my helmet, tried to hit him back because I don’t know what that could have led to. It was clearly my mistake that I lost my calm and followed him in the first place knowing he was a rapido biker. I don’t know why I did that - may be work stress or may be some other trauma. my friend got into an accident yesterday and now we are at the royal enfield service centre. They are estimating the insurance claim to be around 40k for the damages but they told us to pay the amount at the time of pick up and then we need to reimburse it. Is this the right process? I thought they billed directly to the insurance company.

Does anyone know this new scam in town by onroadz self drive rentals, yes basically what happens here is they book your slot after arriving for the vehicle they go on saying that car is no longer available if you want you can another car which will cost extra so obviously agitated us we go by saying just refund the money however they deny anyy refund you can either cancel and leave or take the other vehicle at additional cost of you insist they ll have goons there to shoo u away beware while using these services and ensure your ready the actual reviews!!!

I've served the whole notice period of 45 days and on the very last day, manager says that I didn't complete my work and wouldn't be accepting my resignation. It's already been a week since I joined my new firm and they're asking for the resignation acceptance mail/proof. All my email, slack accesses have been revoked from the previous company and manager is still reluctant to let me go in peace. New company has agreed to enter the joining date accordingly in the system once I get the resignation acceptance to avoid any dual employment conflict. Could anybody help me with the legality of this and how I can proceed?
