 Even though meta has tried its best to cross seed from IG/FB, I think they’re finding out the hard way that the average non-anon social media user wants nothing to do with their toxic tweet format avatar  
  
 Plus X despite it’s garbage handling of organic feed still is the fastest way to get uncensored news and on-ground reporting (apart from usual celeb opinions and announcements)

Have any of you used threads/ are using threads? Recently I checked it , and all I see are corporation/organisation post, not a single post by a creator.

Thing is inspite of all the negativity and toxic atmosphere there, Twitter still has genuinely good content. And it's USP was the interaction., which enabled one to reach out to others.

The alternatives like Koo, Mastodon, Threads just don't have that kind of interactivity Twitter does. Is there any better option?

What is the alternative to Twitter now? With Musk ensuring it would become an app only for paid users, it's becoming harder to be there.

The creators mentioned that they were going to improvise it, there have been no interesting changes yet. 

Could it be that they are planning something big or it’s just momentum lost?

I barely know anyone using it; how do they such a high MAU? Is it because of dark patterns within insta by which they are able to maintain their MAU?

I would be wy more interested in knowing avg time spent per user especially if it is trying to compete with x/twitter.

I work in a startup. We're currently on an ongoing pivot. I started working here as a founding engineer. I have worked here for around 2 years now. Majorly i worked on frontend part with react native (which is totally a new thing for me when i joined). During my tenure here there was no senior engineer who could review my work and give me the skills i required to build my career. Our founder was happy if the app was working fine. During the initial phase we needed to launch the app as soon as possible so i quickly learned the basic things i needed to make an app with react native. In this time all of these things (js and web world) are very new to me as i was coming from developing native android apps with java. Now im trying to switch so that i can work with a team of experienced engineers. While attempting interviews for frontend engineer, I found that whatever I've done in my current job was nothing more than a college project and I really didn't got to learn any industry level stuff. I'm feeling like im still a fresher out of college. 

I tried working on my frontend skills but as we all know it's a very huge field. Html, css, js, frontend frameworks, hell lot of libraries.

I'm feeling so overwhelmed.

Whenever i attend a new interview i get to know new concepts which i never knew exist.


Any suggestions for me guys?

Amazing UX, thoughtfully crafted UI...much better than Twitter. 

Overall from a product standpoint, I like the ecosystem angle that Meta is creating for the social media space (like how Apple built its ecosystem).

If the content is unlike Instagram now, I think it's a great strategic move by Zuck, especially when there's so much restructuring going on at Twitter.

What are your initial thoughts?

What’s the observation about Tata Digital aka Tata Neu in the Industry? I’ve been part of it for quite some time and I’m having a feeling that the insider observations are quite different from what’s known to others. 

To summarise my observations:
1. No vision on running digital business
2. Toxic leadership
3. Very bad work life balance
4. Sub par pay compared to similar orgs
5. Poor engineering culture
6. No money to burn anymore - cash crunch
7. Lot of senior exits
8. Layoffs across levels
