Thats ok, nothing to be worried about, just do your best, communicate to your manager where and why you are stuck, you might need some mentoring and handholding and your manager should understand and provide the same,

Thanks for the suggestion but actually in my company nobody is that friendly all they care about is meeting deadlines.

The first step would be to talk to your manager. Also, ask any teammates if they can guide you. If that doesn't work, you can hire a freelancer to help you. But make sure you are not sharing company code/data to them. Just give them a generalized version of the problem you're facing and ask for the best solution. You may also ask on stackoverflow/reddit but a response isn't guaranteed.

Its been around a year since I've started working in a service based company as a Frontend dev, WLB, compensation and all is good based on I've just started.
During this year of working I do not feel like I've done anything, our team is working on a product for past 2-3 year and its nearing the completion. My role was mostly to cordinate with testing team and solve frontend bugs and minor addition to the project (which was mostly copy pasting), even doing these minor task took me some time initially and I still have to take help from seniors time to time. 
I got kinda bored with all the repetitive task and I requested my manager to assign me to other development happening within team, he agreed and assigned me some different task but I cant seem to understand anything here, 
I get stuck in the most basic things, I feel stupid when I am not able to come up with easy solutions.

I am seeing other engineers learning new tech stacks in a small amount of time and getting hold of it while i am not able to understand things in my own tech stack.

I've recently gotten a appraisal as well(my company is quite good and gives it to everyone) and I feel like I don't deserve a bit of it.

 I am a 2023 graduate , I did MCA because that was the only good option I could see for myself(mostly cz of money) at that time earlier to that I did a bachelor's (Non CS) without gaining any knowledge of anything.
My basics are not that good, In college my only focus was to get a job so I did DSA and some front-end development using ReactJS(projects mostly code along with ytube) to be able to grab a good placement.

Is software engineering not for me? If no, then how do I overcome this, i don't wanna be a mediocre.

Am I a bad engineer?

feeling like I am literally in the worst phase of my life. Our company is taking ownership of an abroad project and those abroad folks are not supportive or even if they support us then they give little information so that we can't take ownership. so we freshers have to figure out everything, and now even after figuring out, my manager and higher management asks me anything with respect to the product(features, deployment, anything literally- it's a big & complex project) even though I am a fresher and don't even have the proper knowledge and then ask us to explain to them what we know, and it's literally frustrating to explain to every single guy every single time. Because the manager asks to prepare to explain to him and then to the higher manager and then whenever something is there they keep asking again and again to give a presentation or our ideas about it, but they don't even ask abroad folks when they are the one who is doing the work. I just feel like I can't keep up with this and I want to resign. How to say no to the manager for doing a particular work again and again or should I resign because I am feeling very low right now and still after 1 year it looks like I have wasted the time because I got to write code for maybe 5% and 90-95% feels like college presentation. Every time there's something and they ask the same thing 3-4 times, sometimes it would be give the x info or then y info and like this only  and because of that i can't do the real work or work on new features because the Indian manager and higher officials keep giving extra work which they should ask from US folks. What should I do please suggest

It has been a few months since I joined the company but it feels like I haven't really learnt anything new nor am I contributing majorly in any way . In this time span I have rarely coded and it feels like it is affecting my career deeply, especially being a fresher in this domain.I want to know the possible ways to tackle this situation and what else that you guys recommend.

(Fresher) I currently work in a MNC with 6 lpa and I have no interest in coding unfortunately. I am in the Cloud Native Azure domain. I was assigned a task of creating a dot net based project but I haven't done anything as of yet. I don't know what to do now 😭

I feel like a loser now. This is so not fair. Now placements at college are also over so theres no hope left

The project assigned is good though but everything is only C

Need some tips as a fresher

If you mess up on a client engagement and can't finish a task properly? What happens ? What are the repercussions? I'm a fresher and I don't know what to do anymore ? Is this normal ? It's only been 7 months here , I'm a campus hire and I feel out of my depth? Seniors don't help that much as they're too busy? My anxiety is really high and I don't know really know what to do anymore.
Any tips advice would be helpful?

Total disconnect... most of us do not work 40Hrs a week -every week.. sometimes its 60hrs some times its 20.. but the main requirement is we need to pretend to be busy. That's what's defines a hard worker in our country. 
productivity and efficiency gayi baad mein.... if you  finish your current work, you  need to find the next. or you can continue the current work for as long as possible.

 I have been working in this company as a junior software developer for more than 8 months. This is my second company, and I had a probation period after joining this one. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with my manager because he was a fan of micromanagement. He didn't like anything I did and said that I was worthless, didn't know anything, and was stupid. He didn't have any trust in me, and I faced this day-to-day in office life. As a result, I lost my confidence, developed anxiety and depression, and even thought about suicide about a month ago. I am currently going to a therapist every week for my depression and anxiety.

I worked really hard and even worked overtime and some weekends during my probation period. However, after 6 months, during my review, my manager said that I didn't work on anything and extended my probation to 3 months. I started my career 2 years ago, and I wonder if this is normal in  IT career.

I am looking for a job change right now, but I always get the question from most of the HR "why do you move too early?" and I don't know how to answer this question.

How many escalations have you had , I'm on 2. Working on two projects simultaneously and I'm just behind on both of those , I'm a fresher , I told my manager that I don't have bandwidth but he said that take responsibility and finish it? I don't know what to do anymore ?

How to navigate this situation

Hey, so to introduce myself. I recently graduated from a new IIM and got into a product manager role at a bank where I have the responsibility of launching a new product. I always thought that I would end up in a sales role and did my internship as a market research intern as well. Now, I have no idea how to proceed with my current role. I have no tech background with a bachelor's in science and MBA in marketing & strategy. 

Would like to know if I should stay in this role(tbh I like the tasks) or should I change to sales because a fresher with no tech background would always be at a disadvantage 
And if I choose to stay, how do I go on from here? What skills/certifications/steps should I take.

Basically let's say if you're on remote and you are working on a large code base which was built over the years. You have been assigned something to do & you end up in a hurdle or loop. You can't seem to get it working or whatever you think it's not working. How do you proceed in this situation, given the remote environment , can't go and tap on someone's shoulder's immediately. Please share your thoughts. I'm getting stuck in this kind of situation these days and would need insights.

How do you thrive or unblock yourself from a hurdle

When i was in college i wanted to build my own company/product. Thought of many ideas and tried to build something. None of them worked and it affected my studies so I had to quit just to clear my exams.

After college I took placements in a WITCH like company where I got put into data entry/operations job after clearing difficult coding interviews (kismat kharab?). 
Somehow learnt new technologies on the side and managed to switch to a development role at a lower salary in a startup.

After 3 years Worked hard on DSA and (barely) managed to get a good offer with above average pay. But the company is not stable anymore and may layoff at any time. 
Right now struggling to learn enough DSA to crack any company.
Now I am almost 30, i have no hobbies,no talents, no relationships just trying to have a stable career.

I see people everywhere doing so many things at once. How do they manage to do this.
They are working at FAANG and managing businesses at the same time, have a bunch of friends.
What am I doing wrong?

I went and asked my lead to give some task, they delegated me to some other lead, the other lead said kal release hai dekhte hai kuch aaya toh de denge warna theek
Now here I am anxious about not getting a task, I don't know how to kill time, I get tensed of not having a task. Is it just me?
I don't understand when you get a task, again you are tensed about the deadlines, if you don't get a task you are tensed
This is a vicious cycle, how to break this?

I'm nervous in my first job

I am a BE graduate after college I tried govt exams but  couldn't clear it...after that i learned a software on my own i joined a small company which  trained me little nd projected me as a experienced to a client, i cleared interview and got placed to the client but that project is too complex and even fr small tasks i am taking weeks to complete....daily i feel bad nd humiliated fr not completing tasks and people are not friendly here... Should I see this as an opportunity or this is wrong...will other IT companies to do the same

I want to share my experience as a fresher at Accenture, my first company from a college placement. The first six months were fine, but then I faced severe mental harassment from my supervisor and manager. She constantly criticized my work and gave negative feedback, causing me immense stress. I often skipped meals and worked weekends to improve, but nothing helped.

Despite reporting the issue and requesting a supervisor change or a different track, my requests were ignored. The harassment worsened, affecting my physical health, and I couldn't eat or sleep properly. My manager controlled trivial aspects like where to sit and whom to talk to, making the situation unbearable. I was even forced to switch from a developer role to a tester, despite being trained as a developer.

The final straw was being placed on a Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) without a clear reason, with the same harassing individuals assessing me. I only had 1.9 years of experience then. I reported the mental harassment to HR and resigned due to deteriorating health, panic attacks, and weight loss. Despite having no other job offer, I couldn't continue. Even during my notice period, I was forced to complete PIP assignments, which led to suicidal thoughts and further health issues.

Now, I am jobless, feeling helpless and frustrated. With less than 2 of experience, I struggle to find offers in a down IT market and don't know what to do next.
