What is one memory from your childhood that comes back to you again and again?

Found this image and I am down the memory lane. I remember always asking parents for 1-2 rs coins and then eagerly waiting for the ticket with weight and a quote. Used to tease my sister if my quote is about success and her is about smile or life 🤣🤣🤣 Also in the movies, this is where explosives 🧨 are found with a kid standing over it and then hero comes and saves the day 😁. Idk how many of you remember seeing or using this. I bet 90s kids for sure have used this. Raise your hands if you remember this. Feel free to share your best memory about this. Happy Sunday!

I’ll go first, getting that old PSP, the one which had WiFi in built. Or maybe PlayStation 2 which was like 5k-6k back then. Now, I could get a PS5 or buy games to play on my PC, but the feeling is lost. Just like my childhood. I guess I lived a part of my childhood today. Went on a walk and had a Cornetto IceCream, which back then I didn’t have the money for and had to buy an Orange/Cola IceCream. Then, I walked around my society. Saw a few kids playing football and instantly teleported back to when I was a kid. Now that child is gone and the dream has too. But still, it feels good remembering that 5 year old me would be proud of adult me, and that’s what truly matters. 🥰 I made this exact post 1 year back and it reminded me of how far I’ve come. I hope it makes you feel that too. ❤️

It's been 4 years since covid started and all of us went into the first lockdown (24 March 2020). I just thought of this while making another post, and this has actually taken me aback. It was such a crazy time, and now it's just long gone. - We got a lot of time to be home, to be around loved ones, most of us are privileged and hence Covid wasn't bad at all. We were mostly making Dalgona Coffee, sourdough bread, playing PUBG, watching movies, etc. - A lot of us also lost loved ones. It was really brutal for those who did. And it was always scary for the rest of us. - Most of us who have been in tech saw our salaries climb the fastest. The absolute peak job market, best hikes, the world was very positive in that sense - not as much work and enough pay to enjoy - The biggest thing I've noticed: Covid got me hooked to Instagram/YT Shorts/and other social media. I feel like I used to be more aware and awake before covid. Somehow, a lot of exposure to social media/content etc. has made me just very zoned out in life. I think a lot of us have a much shorter attention span. IDK if this is true, but certainly feels like it is true. Just penning this down because I'm genuinely tripping how long it's been.

Remember as a child how excited I would be, and how patriotic it would feel. Now it's just a holiday. A long weekend. I don't know why my feelings/patriotism went to die. I'm curious but, what does it mean to you?
