I’ve heard everything from 1 month to 6 months as severance. What’s really the reality?
Usually it's whatever is mentioned in your employment contract
Some companies I know gave the salary of the notice period and unused leaves (excluding sick leaves)
Majority of the companies give you your experience letter with good recommendation as severance
Rest pay you your notice period
