Mine is Nifty Future Index trade in the last cycle. Captured around 1800 Points with 3 lots .i.e. 2.75L Profit.

Umm....No it is not. This time around i have captured 2100 points in Nifty and i am still in the trade but with 2 Lots. I trade Nifty future 3,4 times in a year very very rarely 5 but my hit ratio is pretty good. I am kinda proud of that 😅

Was analysing my trades over the last 3 years to understand my best and worst trades ever, then coupled that with my "Trade Diary" to see what were the difference of thoughts between both trades. 

I was levered heavily on these F&O trades by holding a margin position. Made ~73k that day with a Capital at Risk/Trade under 25k at all times.

I have since left F&O, I have found better use of my time elsewhere and taxation on F&O income is not worth it anymore to me. 

What about you all? Any trades/lessons to share for all of us?

What's the craziest way you've made money ?

At start of 2020 was transitioning to a new job. Got FnF of 1.3L from prev. job in March of that year.  
  
 Unwittingly YOLOed all of it into crypto (ETH, MATIC, UNI). Over the next year it grew to ~85L. Withdrew all, paid taxes and put the lumpsum ~50L in mutual funds and FDs on dad's advice. Not gonna get lucky like that ever again.

Had originally bought at 55-60 levels. But believe in Zomato, so doubled down at 180. It looks amazing on portfolio now :)

SBI - BUY Price 635 Up around 10%
General Insurance - 360 Up around 25%
APAR IND - Just around the buy price of  6200.


It is not of surprise to me what SBI has been doing among all the Large Caps. It was doing the right thing for the last 1 month and then started moving silently. 

Bank Nifty is not in the right structure, we will get a periodic pullback in SBI. The strategy is to hold and sit tight. I will use periodic pullback to add again into SBI again and will hold until the structure deteriorates. Trend is not going to be smooth like in DLF, Tata M etc. 

PSU bank space was silent for so many years and now they are posing a great competition to private banks. Private banks need to revamp to attract at such prices.

GENERAL INSURANCE - It is a small cap and moves can be pretty wild. I did not explain the structure, i will do it once trade hits a certain %.

APAR IND is taking its time, i like it when Stock consolidates absorb all the supply, shakeout a lot of participant and then move higher. Lets see how this trade pans out.

Any trade that will be taken from now on needs to monitor closely.

I took a leap of faith and invested a few thousand rupees in Rivian. Made an exit today when it rose by 30% and bought Robinhood and Salesforce.
Was this a correct move given the stock was very volatile?

#1 - company got acquired ..I got 45 Lacs IN ESOP ...thats 1.5X of my last annualized salary  ( so additional salary for 18 months) 
#2 - Company became unicorn ... I quit and company bought my ESOPs . Got 2 Cr
That is 3X of my annualized salary

Company 1 - I had joined at very early stage ; Company 2 - I joined at mid-stage
