I got laid off. Shortlisted for interview by 11 companies Got job offer from 2 as of now

Apply to companies only with a referral. Don't bother applying without a referral. Apply without a referral only when there are 1-50 employees in the company.

I dont agree with applying to 1000 companies like a robot. Why take shots in the dark? You are asking for burnout if you do this. We all run out of gas at sometime during the job hunt.

Spend more time in improving your resume. Optimize it as much as possible. Devour every resume building tip out there. Trust me, I got shortlisted in all these companies in a timespan of 1.5months

been there, twice. There is no best way, unless you have enough money to handle 1 year of living exp. and consider this layoff as a vacation.

Agreed. It's very important to have the financial runway,

Know that there are 1000's of applicants for a perticular job and ur resume's bounce rate is gonna be really high. So instead of applying for 50 companies, wait for a revert, feed sad about situation and get depressed, apply for 1000 companies like a robot and you will land with a couple of interviews.
Remember you have to work in one company and not all of them.
