What is the maximum salary for project manager now a days in the market

What's the salary range for PMOs & Project Managers with 7-8 years of experience in the current market? Companies like Verizon, Deloitte, EY, CGI, Here, ITC, etc. are not even discussing 20+ LPA. I've got some e-mails even stating budget constraints with figures of 15 LPA, etc. Based on the calls I'm getting, 99% of companies are asking me to settle down for 20 LPA max which I used to earn. I'm currently not working. Kindly share some insights and suggestions.

What is the approximate standard for a technical project manager from Delivery stream ?

I am PMP certified Project Manager handling multiple projects, with Total YOE 18, 10 inTCS..! I am paid 15 LPA in TCS. I want to ask for my Salary Rationalization to match current market value. Can you please guide me what is the current market value for this position? Thanks in advance everyone.

Worked with founders for 2 yrs in each function of business, managed key account with 80% revenue, did escalation handling and product management too. No campus placement Year 1 - 2.75 lpa service based mnc Associate Software Engineer Year 2- 3.75 lpa salary normalisation and role changed to PMO Year 2.5- 5.5 lpa joined another service based company Year 3 - 6 lpa joined startup as Edtech program manager Year 4- 8 lpa with hike same role Year 6- 11 lpa promotion senior program manager Year 7- 16lpa joined another start up as tech program manager/scrum master Year 7.5- put down paper got retained didn’t match salary but promotion and hike 22lpa role changed to Product manager Year 8- 30lpa product manager another start up From Associate Software engineer to PMO to Program manager/Scrum Master to Product Manager Starting salary 2016- 2.75lpa Current salary 2024- 30lpa ( have two offers might get better offer than this) Note- number is only fixed component of salary Advice- Take risk and it doesn’t matter what role you are in whether you are a developer , QA, sales person, marketing or CS just be good in whatever role you do, work hard and show your work be visible and be very very good at communication!
