What next??

My friend is a .net developer and he feels his career has become stagnant. What new technologies should he learn so he has a better chance at a better job??

I suggested him to keep practicing DSA for interviews??

DSA and System Design are good to learn.

However he should also learn things like Cloud, DevOps, Clean Coding Principles, Solid Principles, Automated Unit Testing, etc.

Should he learn backend web development

@Sh29 Yes he should learn that first.

Because at many places they are demanding full stack roles only.

He should decide which skill to acquire first by analysing the JDs based on his experience and based on the companies he wants to work for.

What majorities of them are asking as must have skill, he should start with that skill and then continue with other must haves.

Then if time permits he can focus on the good to have skills.
