What to do for negotiations?

When I was interviewing I had a verbal counter offer from another company which my hr said she will match it . After joining I was told by HR that we will talk after probation. Now no one is talking and I have cleared probation should I go ahead and talk to HR? How should I ask for it? #engineering #software #swe #tech

Right now, all you can do is talk about it and wish that they increase your compensation, or find a new job and quit. Never ever take a verbal confirmation for anything related to work.

You have lost the negotiation power.Send a mail but don’t go overboard in it , very politely remind them and say we can discuss in a call and when you discuss ask for it affirmatively .
