What's after Data Analyst post?

I am a fresher working as a Data analyst in a growing startup. My current role doesn't include much of coding just python and SQL and sometimes little bit ML work. Currently handling 2 projects, and some of PM work to define some roadmaps. I like engineering and coding in whole and want to know more. So do I switch to some SDE role or is there are more paths after Data analytics? I know ML, DL and NLP but not sure will it be a great choice to make career primarily in Data science. So, I am little confused. Please give all good advices. Thanks A curious Engineer

Recently I got intern+FTE (40k+12lpa) in a startup as data analyst. I would like to know the future prospects in the data field. I like to do coding or be on technical side. Or do I try to shift in SDE role ASAP.

I'm currently a Data Analyst with 6 months of experience. I would like to get into AI/ML and Robotics field. Planning to transition from my current role next year. I'm not sure whether I should become a Software engineer (preferably Backend) or ML Engineer or some Data Science role. I'm currently in Bangalore. Open to relocating to any state (or even country). In the longterm, I want to do something that has both software and hardware in it. Please explain your advice if you can afford some time. Thanks in advance. P.S. Currently I have 1.5 yoe as a data scientist with CTC of 6 lpa. Thinking of transitioning to Data Analyst or SDE but can't figure out. I have graduated in Mechanical Engineering, so I don't have the pedigree to become a good SDE. What you all think?

Skillset : SQL, PowerBI, Python, Advance Excel, ML, Very basic Azure (Just started learning) 1.5 yrs of experience in TCS in PLSQL DB Team I am confused as to which field should I venture into, Big data or data engineering or cloud architect? I like coding but not way too much. (7 on a scale of 1 -10) I love communicating and organising/managing stuff(9 on a scale of 10) I love working with data but I dont want to be a generalist/data analyst. I would like to make good money

India represents an untapped potential for greater Internet penetration+advancements in Speed compared to other advanced economies. This should ideally unlock greater data generation per capita. This will ideally allow us to map geo-specific patterns across e-commerce/social-networks/OTT/Finance/Healthcare/EdTech etc. Data as a moat may just be real. Think of how you can switch to: (in this order of preference) Data Engineering > ML/AI/Data Science > Analytics Having YOE under your belt when the wave picks up will take you further than anyone else. I’m a student of BE from a affiliated college under Mumbai university, I’m from Computer Background but for coding is not easy to understand, frame , but I want to work in tech field I chose these two coz it requires only python as a main language, and what jobs are high in demand in recent markets pls can you help me !?

Hi All I have 2.5 YOE as an analyst, currently working as an senior product analyst with CTC of 15L fixed + 5L ESOPs. I have only been in product since start of career and have a set path to becoming an APM at my firm by next cycle in Dec. Recently I wanted some building experience and I have built a few web and mobile apps and I found coding is very interesting. I’m having thoughts about switching careers because of 2 reasons: 1) Money - although I believe I’m underpaid (cause I received offers of 22L fixed for role of product analyst in past but chose not to switch because of market volatility.) But in long run, I believe being tech is going to make a lot more money compared to product roles (I have friends with 1-2 YOE making 26L fixed) and the remote opportunities. 2) Skills Product is mostly soft skills and tech is more hard skills driven. With amount of layoffs in PM roles, I think tech is just a safer bet. Also given I don’t hate coding. I think I would happily code compared to doing things like user calling/ making review decks/ following up with other teams meticulously/ writing PRDs. One specific question I have is: what are things in tech role that are not very fun to do but still part of JD?
