What's the point of having likes if you can't see who has liked your posts and reply?

Is there any logic or reason as to why platforms allow liking your own posts? If so, should people do it? Does it help in anyway?

I discovered grapevine from Twitter, and it's fantastic - but the posts and comments don't have timestamps so I have no idea when something was posted, especially as the algorithm is probably not strictly in reverse chronological order. Hope the devs see this and add timestamps, it's a basic necessity imo.

So if the replies on a comment crosses a limit, you can no longer see the latest replies in the default view. It’s so frustrating to click on ‘view more replies’ 826391 times to finally see what’s going on right now. PMs assemble
