What's your take on this?

[Borderline LinkedIn Cringe] Does everything have to be done with the intention of proving men wrong? Is this the message you want to send as a CEO?

(Glad there are women disagreeing with her in the OP though)

It is very common (like Sun will rise and set everyday) in all companies that let’s not hire women if they are of marital age (they decide marital age and she will not stay longer), just now got married (bcz she will become pregnant & will take maternity leave), who has small babies (bcoz she will not give time and priority to work). All these things are said by men, I myself have directly heard it from my colleagues in all companies I have worked till now. My frnds have told me the same practice happens at their companies as well. So, I support her.

It's a completely rational decision if you think from the company's perspective. I have seen multiple instances where women simply collect maternity benefits, and quit the job right after.

Since it is illegal for companies to deny maternity benefits, the logical outcome would be to not hire women who might get pregnant if they can.

Blame the game, not the players.

@BrisbaneBunny I think you got your answer here based on RealSlimShady’s comment.

She was roasted for this post. Most Indian CEOs have lost it; they are posting all this nonsense on social media.

I don’t support her. She doesn’t acknowledge her privilege. I have seen pregnant friends and colleagues; the toll it takes on their body and mind. Women should be given a choice to work at their own pace during atleast the last trimester. Allow work from home if the job can be done remotely. mMen should get 6-8 weeks of paternity leave instead of the common 2 weeks to spend time with the kid and support his wife.

Either these rich people are delusional or they get paid to say such things or may be am just too poor to understand these things.

So all women travel in chauffer driven luxury car, who have a servant at their beck and call and at office, their work is to forward emails with reply "FYA" or "pl update status".?

She talks with pride about shooting 12 Hrs /day. All she has to do is sit and there is a person taking care of her needs. Rich people are delusional.

I usually ignore anything having shark tank/Ghazal alagh/ breaking the glass ceiling kind of text.
Barbie dolls of corporate world don't know shit about what a normal working woman might have to go through. They don't have chauffer driven cars and good working capital alongwith the servants to take care of themselves.

Honasa IPO was over valued and these couples are just clowns of the cosmetic world!

Couldn't it have been other women who aren't pregnant? Why assume that it's only men who helped? In this day and age, women work just as hard as men in the corporate world.

In any team when a woman becomes pregnant it's the men who are assigned more tasks and the women get the benefit of given less tasks because the managers at the end of the day want the work to get done and won't contemplate the ethical dilemma.
And yes this is why men get paid more because they deliver more for the business

Absolute ultra nauseating.she will have a whole team of servants to take care of her clothes, driving, house, husband, parents. If you are an average person good luck trying to commute 3+ hours a day in pathetic public transport in a polluted city with deadlines that cannot be reached, cooking for the house whose job might be more important than yours taking care of parents and inlaws and keeping the overall house in order. The world has become delusional

Agree don’t take this privileged nut job seriously - I’ve seen closely the ill effects of stress on the development of the baby & it makes sense that women take it slow or opt out completely for a time period in the interest of their health and their baby.

Just trying to prove a stupid point listening to morons like these is not being smart, she won’t come to your aid if something goes wrong!

This is the worst fucking thing that you can do to your loved one. So even if you support this shit don't ever do this to someone you love. Fuck this hustle bullshit.

It's so absurd that a ceo can compare their work to employee. Both are working in different dynamics.

The work pressure of a ceo of an established company is attending meeting, not the ground level work which employees dose which have more mental and physical strain.

Infosys is filled with such people. All such people are now TL, PM, SPM. Subpar technical or functional knowledge but in higher positions.
