When do you stop training a Neural Network?

Is anyone here who has built Indic-focused SLM/LLM models for text generation? If yes, please DM me. Want to understand the following things 1. Want to understand the training/fine-tuning and running costs. 2. I also want to understand how much training data was required to attain minimum acceptance criteria. 3. Was the effort worth the reward? Meaning that had you not built the model yourself and used any other foundational models, how could the cost and output differed?

I have 3 years of experience in other domain and i am trying to get into Data science. Any suggestions amid these layoffs ?

Last month, Krutrim AI had attained unicorn status for being the first indigenous LLM AI model of India. There was some hue and cry when it had distorted some historical concept of India. Today, the beta version was launched and upon pondering, it stated that it’s based of OpenAI’s LLM model…so they spent all this money & resources just a build a wrapper service. Frankly, this is just another scam & would lose credibility in a blink of an eye. Why do Indians lack innovation & just believe in simple copy pasting. Views are welcome.

Do they use data from social media companies or hire volunteers to train their modals?

I am an ML engineer working in a startup. My current situation is horrible,I am constantly stressed about getting laid-off(My performance is good,I got promoted a month ago). I came to know that my company will probably lay people off this month,since they are unable to meet targets. Now,I got rejected in four interviews. There is a lot to learn and revise. Stats and probability. Machine learning algos. Deep learning architectures(got rejected because I was unable to explain the architecture of a complex model in detail). DSA(got rejected twice in this round). SQL (got rejected once since I was unable to solve the SQL problem). ML ops(some recruiters ask this as well). With the added pressure of getting laid off,my whole life is turned upside down.I am unable to focus. Every meeting or discussion I attend I feel like people are evaluating me.( This was not the case before). I don't know what to do. It would really help,if you guys share your interview experiences below.

Is Kalaido.ai legit? Or is this another one fine-tuned using OpenAI models or wrapped around them? The demo looks good tbh

Has anyone worked with ML problems where we need to match N elements from 1 dataset to M elements from another (N>M, or 1 m can have multiple n)? What business domains have such problems? What modelling approaches, feature engineering and ML models did you use?
