Cred. Ed tech.
Usne bola explain bhi kar.
Bina explain kare it’s just a wish my friend.
Cred is doing good in loans... they have reduced marketing costs to almost 0.. they are also almost CM2 positive
Paytm 2-3 years max. PPBL news has already broken a significant revenue source for them directly as well as indirectly. They don't have any significant edge over PhonePe.
The only reason why it could still survive somehow is because govt doesn't want the majority of UPI market share to go to just one particular app
Btw Paytm has immense potential to tap into. They just need a complete overhaul of its people and culture. In the age of automation work still happens over excel files of size 1L+ rows
Actually they have cash of 8k-10k crores available with them so they have a lot of run way to figure out alternate business models to grow into. And on top of that VSS is committed and has a good immediate leadership team as well
Dunzo, Zepto, most AI wrapper startups, most D2C food chips, coffee, bhel startups. Either they will shutdown or operate in a survival mode.
I don't know about Zepto, it might get acquired or something but these AI wrapper start-ups, pretty sure they gonna close
Not a believer in Byju myself, but even after all the drama they still have close to 1500cr annualised revenue. Don’t think it’s gonna die that soon
I think Scaler Academy
Saw an random chat on Reddit and that guy was promoting It
Someone asked hows their business going seeing the condition of EdTech
He said ki we are exploring social-edtech which means dating , flirting advise and all i was laughing so hard man
Newton too it seems
What’s happening with Upgrad btw?
Sharechat Its target users are from tier 2 and 3 cities. It is hard to earn from such users. Also their MAU is decreasing with time due to the increased number of ads.
Food delivery and Edutech in very short time
Udaan
A lot of people at Unacademy have already resigned, and they are unable to hire replacements from the market( for who knows what reasons). Now as we all know people who are left in the organisation are going to have a tough time.
Leave...
Will these cash burning companies just continue raising money and biding time or will they implode soon? Not well informed on this, genuinely want to know how this works And what happens to their 1000s of employees
Lets collate a list. I will start with a few guesses.
