Have a close friend who used to work there. There’s so much disconnect between different teams, ego clashes all around and execs who have no fucking clue what to do. What’s hilarious is that their shit doesn’t even work properly on a majority of devices it’s deployed on, and they don’t even seem to know/detect this???

Quite bad. I was part of the layoffs which were 6-7 months back. Fast forward to today, the whole founding engineering team is gone. As of today the whole website is run by 1 person, app by 2 and backend again by 1. Only one designer was left after the layoffs who's leaving soon as well.
The company is pivoting to a society based model focussing on school kids. It might work for the next round (v slight chance) but definitely at a down round.
