Why are so many startups shutting shop in December?
There’s now a list of 4-6 startups that have shut down and announced closure in December. Why is this happening
VCs are sitting on a lot of capital from LPs and were expecting to go on a deployment spree this quarter.
Many who did raise in the Covid peak burnt through what they had expecting this and then the funding didn't come.
Even VCs are getting consolidated at the moment.
Very true Already orios vp and lightbox seem to be in the shits. Chiratae has had trouble raising capital for new fund (to some degree). A lot of VC's who bet on consumer-tech startups will face issues

So some rich people can make even more money
They are now at point to realize they cannot raise funds promising that their business is going to solve a great problem and make money.. You cannot fool all the people all the time.
